Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong Village on Tuesday Oct 27, 2020 from 1330 -1500

Today the team of three, Johnny , Winnie and Hung switched our mission venue to the Sherwood Street on the front of the main entrance of the Toowong Village. It was to avoid repeated encounter with many gospel targets at the Benson Street bus stop. Yet we unavoidably still meet up a couple of them. The chance of stopping for a chat was much less than the Benson Street Bus Stop. Johnny might have three or four, Winnie just two and I had 5 full chat with many shorter encounter as recap below: -

1) Jacob UQ student was willing to let me walk with him to the Toowong shopping Centre giving me chance to finish sharing the full Gospel in a nutshell.

2) An Indian woman was hurrying to work, so she was not attentive enough to hear the gospel despite I finished sharing the nutshell of Gospel.

3) Brendon a Christian attending Hillsong has 100% assurance of salvation but the reason is not clear enough failing to answer the 2nd question that the reason being admitted to heave nis simply because of Jesus and Him alone.

4) An arrogant Filipino Christian top the tract but refused to answer the two diagnosis questions.

5) An Indian father rushed to leave as child on the car but he willingly took the tract.

6) An Aussie Office lady need to go back to work but willingly took the tract.

7) Erica an Singaporean Malay Muslim. She was humble and receptive to the gospel.

8) Another Chinese girl rushed to work though accepted the tract.

9) A Chinese couple, the girl rejected but the boy accepted the tract.

10) Sem Trim an UQ student from Bhutan doing part time job near by. She just finished work and was about to go back to UNi for exam. But she still willingly spent over 15 minutes to chat. She was very receptive to the Gospel and agreed that Buddhism and other religions are only good at appealing people to behave as a good person but could not resolve the problem of sin. Introduced her to Power to Change as well at the end.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong Village on Tuesday Oct 20, 2020 from 1330 to 1500

We, Johnny, Winnie & Hung, had the privilege to serve as a team again with God as our team leader. Before we realize, God is changing the pattern of out reach at Toowong. For consecutive weeks, God led many gospel targets we had outreached in the previous weeks to turn up time and again to let us do follow up on their journey of faith in search of the ultimate salvation. Another new inspiration we got was that we might have to change tactic of doing friendship evangelism with those who declined if not rejected our approach. We can withhold preaching to them right away for the time being but changed tactic to make friend first as many of them turn up regularly each week. Recap here below are the battle log for me and Winnie (in Chinese). You will notice some of this examples.

1) Sonia , a tall Aussie Uq girl appeared very friendly who let me chat with her about the tract. I had just enough time to share the full gospel to her, but no time to get her direct response though she appeared very receptive.

2) Munich a Hindu young man who was humble to listen to the gospel and found it sensible and logical. He promised to seriously ponder about the need of his sin be forgiven by accepting Jesus.

3) A young man from Henan, who initially declined to chat with Winnie but accepted the tract and started reading it. I approached him a short while after he started reading the tract and changed tactics to make friend first to reduce his alertness against stereotype religious preaching. He turned his attitude to become more receptive to gospel message which I had run out of time to share when the bus came. Pray that God will use the tract to follow up on his pursuance of faith.

4) Jia Peng 賈蓬 was met by Winnie last week. I followed up on her understanding and had gone through the full gospel again. It appeared she now understood she is a good person but not good enough to hit the perfect requirement of God as such she also need redemptive grace of Jesus. Hope we will have chance to chat again next week.

5) An UQ student from Taiwan 台灣who initially also refused to have a chat about the tract. God inspired me to make friend first by switching into more causal chat. So again pray for next meeting to see if her heart is more opened for the gospel.

6) Gail is a Hindu man from India. He turned down to chat with Johnny at the traffic light and Winnie when he got to the bus stop. But When I approached him as he arrived at the bus stop. He recognized me that we had a chat before at least once or more times. He took initiative to talk to me defending for his Hindu faith which I of course responded with a listening ear. Basically he deemed that Hinduism also advocate there is only one God but they can incarnate and appear in human world in many forms in different cultural groups. They all came with a purpose yet they cannot stipulate. On the other hand , they rejected that there is a supreme being God as they cannot rationalize that there is a God who exists by Himself. God head in Hindu people's mind are just spiritual being created in heavenly realm. After I heard his explanation, I challenged him with the question what is the purpose of the Hindu god for coming to live as a living being. Before I can lead him to know that Jesus came with a mission to save us from hell punishment by dying on the cross. Yet the bus came at this moment in time. No doubt God will have another divine appointment arranged in near future.

7) Another girl from China was reluctant to chat but my new tactic of making friend first worked. She took the tract when the bus came.

8) After we finished for the day and did the closing prayer. We noticed an old woman from Shen Zhen 深圳 sitting on the ground waiting for her daughter who had gone to the Toowong shopping centre. We took the chance to share the gospel briefly to her and gave her the tract.

Battle log of Winnie:

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong Village o Tuesday October 13, 2020 from 1330 to 1500

Today we had a team of three as usual including Johnny Winnie and Hung. The weather was not sunny with cloud but the day light was bright with breeze as such it was ideal for outreach. The chances of divine appointment were equally distributed amongst the three of us each having around 8 to 9 chatting opportunities. We also encounter a special situation or outreach pattern of having many mini-reunions with gospel targets we met lately. It enabled us to follow up on their understanding of the Gospel and meaning of salvation t osee whether there is still any barrier preventing to make that precious and important decision to repent and accept Jesus as their Savior and Lord of Life.

Recap belows are the battle log of me in English and of Winnie in Chinese: -

1) A Christian young lady who claimed to have 100% assurance of salvation. When I wanted to cross check what is the basis of this 100% assurance, she then started to avoid answering. I was not able to pin her down for an exact answer as the Bus came at this moment. So it is doubtful if she trust on Jesus alone or herself. Hope next week will meet and follow up with her.

2) Derek and I recognized each other but I forgot his name. It was nice to catch up his understanding and clarified further that no good man is good enough and we all bound to have imperfect sin of though and acts that would subject to hells punishment. Derek now admitted he is good but not perfect as such he would need Jesus if he wants to be on the bright side of God in eternity. I vowed to remember his name next tome we met and awaiting for his serious decision to accept Christ.

3) Then came Perry who was approached by Winnie last week. Her feed back was like Derek still opined that she could continue to live as a good person without adhering to any religion. I caught up to clarify with this point that all religions are good to appeal people to try our best to be a good person. But none of them address the issue of sin that every good person would have committed from time to time as such no religion can saved us from the punishment of sin except Jesus Christ who came to die for us as a blemished perfect sacrificial goal to take our place to receive the hell punishment, but he defeated Satan as well as his power of death so that he rose up to be the King of kings and our Lord of all Lords giving us the assurance of a new heavenly identity to reconcile with God and be His people again. Like-wise, Perry seemed to have got th point this time and I could only pray God will do the rest to convict her and let me know net time we met.

4) Then came Mandy in a rush to buy something from Towong Village and had to hurried back to work. I offered to walk with her and finish my shorter version of Gospel in a nutshell. She appeared very receptive to the message and acknowledged the need of Jesus after my sharing. She seemed to have received great enlightenment and promised to seriously read the tract to help her to reach the right decision important to her eternal destiny.

5) Lily a young Aussie girl who got a tract from Johnny but did not stop. I followed up to chat with her when she got to the bus stop. I was only able to share the gospel in a nutshell realizing the bus was arriving. She anyway showed degree of understanding of the issue and promised to chat more next time if we meet again.

6) A Lady was on the phone but she still politely accepted the tract, so that mean there is always next time to follow on the aborted conversation.

7) Nish an Indian girl who humbly listened to the Gospel in a nutshell that I could barely had time to finish by the time the bus arrived. She seemed to have got the essence of the message and I can only pray for God's mercy on her to lead her to Christ in His time.

8) Another Indian lady claimed we had chatted before and she was not in the mood to chat anymore. Just pray that net time God will change her mind.

9) Finally Fiona took the tract but the bus came and I did not even have time to share apart from getting her name so hopefully God will give us a second chance to chat next time.

Recap below is the battle log summary in Chinese for Winnie who spoke to 8 persons with mixed results. Three would think deep about it , two said they would accept Jesus as savior. And three all claimed to be Buddhists but Winnie learned to explain to them to notice the difference of Christianity with all other religions including Buddhism that they are all good but only appealing people to be a good and better persons yet provided not solution to address the sin and the consequential hell punishment that only Christianity provides a solution of letting Jesus a perfect person nto die for them taking their place to received the hell punishment of our sin as such we a clean and right with God to be His people again.

Power of Change.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong Village on Tuesday October 6, 2020 from 1330 - 1500

It was a very warm Spring afternoon with bright sun shine. It might have affected some people feeling reluctant to stop and chat under the Summer like scorching sun. But all the three of us , namely Johnny, Winnie and Hung all got reasonable good chance to shared the gospel to the needy ones. Johnny asked for prayer at the end for an UQ student from Taiwan who affirmatively willing to accept Jesus after hearing the Gospel. like-wise Winnie chatted to 8 persons amongst which four showed willingness to accept Jesus. For details, she supplied her Chinese record as below. As for me, I have seven opportunities as recap below.

0) Ouch! I forgot this lady from mainland China. She was hesitant if she should take my tract. And finally she took it. Then I asked if I could share about this before the bus came. She then suddenly firmed up and rejected to continue with our chat. Anyhow, at least she kept the tract and hope God will use it to move her.

1) Bob , a tall Aussie elderly man was prepared by God to wait at the bus stop for a long time as his route is of very infrequent schedule. We chatted for almost 20- 30 minutes. While I shared the gospel, he kept interjecting with many of his questions , like what is sin, will people before Christ be saved, etc. Thanks God that his attitude had eventually softened up and appeared receptive to the gospel accepting the fact that he also needs Jesus despite he all along considers himself a good person.

2) Ashan an Iran urban office lady look woman, finding her way to Indooroopilly shopping centre. She found the bus at the wrong bus. Winnie was the first to approach but could not help so I stepped in and found that she needed to go another bus stop across the road on another street. I offered to walk her to the right bus station making sure she would not got to a wrong bus station heading to the opposite direction to city. God inspired me to stress the points that taking a wrong bus at a wrong bus stop is frustrating thing but you still have chance to make it right eventually. But losing the way and heading to a wrong eternal place in hell instead of heaven is a irreversible mistake that no one should afford. She admit the gospel is sensible and logical but may need more time to sink in the importance. I told her Iran actually has become a thriving new Christian kingdom and she admitted she has many Christian friends. So I pray that God will guide and put her in many good Christian friends hand like God put her in my hand to help her find the right bus.

3) Houng a Vietnamese student from NZ. He happily accepted the tract but was in a hurry to meet his friends who are coming to pick him up. I however still managed to shared the nutshell of the gospel to him in less than a minutes of time.

4) A righteous girl saw me took photo of Winnie sharing gospel with another Chinese girl. She let me share the gospel with her for the purpose of waiting for the finish of conversation of Winnie with that girl. Then she walked over to prompt the girl that I took her picture. I was a little bit surprised in the calculated way of that Indian looks lady but she has the righteous moral ground to give me in. I explained to them that the photo normally avoid the face and it did when I showed them. Anyhow, the Chinese girl was persuaded to ask me to delete it. So, it is a lesson to learn not taking photo too obviously in front of other passers by .

5) Oscar was some one I met two weeks ago. I asked if he has read the tract again at home and how does he find it. The answer was a bit disappointing as he said he does not find the need for salvation. Nevertheless, I tried to go over the illustration of sin to prove that no one including him is good and perfect. Once we have sin, we need Jesus to die for our sin. I invited him to ponder on this issue again.

6) Daren a good old man willing to listen but seemingly has no idea of salvation. He was appreciative for my sharing but asked if I think I can convert everyone. I said it counts to convert even one person better than doing nothing.

Here are the sharing of Winnie on her 7 conversations.

Myer and Lucy.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong Village on Tuesday September 29, 2020 from 1330 - 1500

Today only Johnny and me were available, Winnie and Gary had other ministry engagement. It was a fine Spring afternoon best for street evangelism. But the people flow was a bit slow and quiet. And the rejection rate was high possibly affected by holiday mood that people tended not to chat but enjoy their own private space to listen to music or chatting with friends over the phone. Nevertheless, God grace was still sufficient for us to have our divine appointments especially Johnny getting more longer conversation as recap below: -

1.Hannah is from Japan which I learned only at the end of our conversation. She told me she could not speak Chinese so I thought she possibly is either Vietnamese, or Korean. She appeared very opened and listened to my gospel sharing with interest. Though she showed receptive to the gospel, but the arrival of the bus just striped away the timing to invite her to accept Jesus. God anyway was still in control.

2. Then a Church members of Johnny, Madam Siu turned up with her friend Madam Shen who is an Indonesia Diaspora from Hong Kong. Madam Siu only told me Madam Shen is not yet a Christian. I could have only limited time to share gospel with Madam Shen.

3.Fiona a middle aged Aussie lady who is an extreme Catholic faith professing person. She declines and rejects all other forms of Christianity. She kept saying I should study more about the pure Catholic path, but obviously, it is still human good deeds based. With this arrogant attitude, I can only pray for her to humble herself in God;s timing to put her faith back to Sola Christ.

4 Malinga from Zambia was very friendly to let me with him the gospel. But quickly I noticed he is a Christian and upon posing to him the two diagnosis questions, he got it right to show assurance of salvation. We parted our way when the bus arrived by blessing each other.

5. A local Aussie Lady declined the approach by Johnny. She took her seat besides me and started reading a book entitled "The key of self kindness" I tried to start a conversation about the possibility of self perfection but still failed. She was insistent to not be disturbed from reading the book by herself.

As for Johnny two of his long conversation stood out:

1)Mr Wu from Wuhan 伍武漢,it was rared that mainland Chinese are willing to stop for a chat. But God moved him to stop and chatted for a long time with Johnny. He has many previous contact with Christians and has already built up flavorsome with Christianity. We introduced him the contact to Power to Change(介紹了 Power to Change) and pray that God will lead him to make the final step of faith to accept Jesus.

2) A Malaysian Muslim stopped to chat with Johnny but with the intention to debate on the superiority of Muslim over all other religions including Christianity. Their problem is the lack of sense of guilt on sin. Treating all the trivial sin as unimportance that can be off set by good deeds. When Johnny told him getting married with many women is sin including Mohammad. He argued that Mohammad only entered into a relationship with a woman one at a time which of course is not true. They are like the Pharisee finding gray area to get around all sort of sins. This conversation anyway will still served the purpose of God to challenge his fake faith.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong Village on Tuesday September 22, 2020 From 1330 to 1500

Gary came to joined us while Yan was not available. So we continued to serve at Toowong with a team of Four. The more we serve God in a street evangelism environment with so many uncontrollable factors, the more we experience the sovereign control of God throughout the whole course of our 1.5 hours ministry time. Without God's intervention, the normal response we get is blunt rejection. Many of our approach today faced initial rejection but once God intervened, we miraculously can get a conversation later at our 2nd approach with good result. Both Gary and Johnny now also would occasionally left their outreach outpost to walk with gospel targets to the Bus Station to continue with their conversation until finished or the arrival of the bus which ever happened first.

I have 6 conversations while Winnie had 8 as recap below: -

1) Emma an Indian girl was first approached by Winnie. She cheerfully declared she is a Christian. I felt it was the right time for me to interject and demonstrate to Winnie how to diagnosis and ensure if she has assurance of salvation. Not too surprise, she claimed she ony has 80 % assurance which however is stemmed from her good deeds. The 20 % uncertainty is the room she feels she might learn to love and trust Jesus more. So we had to correct her understanding that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus alone as it was Jesus who died as a perfect man to take our place for eternal death punishment in hell. Can only pray that God will humble here heart to take in this this opposite view about salvation.

2) Manijan is a Malaysian girl seemingly of Muslim background. But she appeared very friendly for a chat. She also was receptive to the gospel I shared just in time before the bus arrived. Pray for God follow up work in her heart.

3) Then God led me to talk with another Two Malaysian girls. They were chatting by themselves but did not feel offended by my interjection to ask for a chat to share the Gospel. The response was positive despite I did not have time to cross check their full understanding because of the arrival of the bus.

4) Jacky is from Quangdong 廣東 who rejected both Winnie first then me a short time later. But his bus had not yet come, so I approached him the 3rd time aiming at just handing him the tract. He reluctantly accepted it and query what was it all about. Then God re-opened the shut window for me to have a very throughout sharing of both my testimony and the core of gospel. His attitude turned more friendly and receptive when I found out he is from

Quangdong and can speak Cantonese. He even missed the bus because he wanted to finish hearing my sharing. So it was so obvious that God had soften his heart and turned him around to be one receptive person to the Gospel.

5) Naja was an old lady from France. She also showed reluctance to have long chat as such she dismissed Winnie after a short conversation. But God made her bus not arriving for more than half and hour allowing me time to share the full gospel with her that she initially did not want to listen in depth.

6) Then I chatted with two UQ students fro China. One appeared more friendly and talkative. He indicated he has many Christian friends and has heard of the Gospel many times before including through meeting of the Power to Change. Then the bus arrived to cut our conversation short. I added only at the end that, he has already been locked up as a target in God's radar.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong Village on Tuesday September 14, 2020 from 1330 to 1500

It was a sunny Spring afternoon that was perfect for street Evangelism with the four of us like last week, i.e. Johnny, Winnie, Yan and Hung serving again as a team. God did again teach us a good lesson of team work that we supplemented each others unknowingly under the directorship of God to make no one escape His pre-destine election.

I was able to watch the trace of God's work as a sideline- observer because I managed to let Winnie take up most of the available opportunities. For at least four occasions, God moved Winnie to approach the 2nd time with success for those either having rejected the initial approach by the Johnny and Yan team at the Traffic light outpost, or those who even had rejected Winnie first approach. I believed it is not done in flesh as normally we will give up when rejected once. But because it is the work of God, so as His obedient servants, we will be sensitive to God's direction against our human reaction in flesh. As a result, Winnie had got an amazing count of nine divine appointments occasion to share the gospel. Both Johnny and I had our chance though lesser in number. For example I only had 6 chances. But all of them served the purpose of God to either doing follow up with people we contacted before or getting chance to learn the mind set of Muslim which may be helpful for my future handling of Muslim background non-believers.

1) Jerrod reminded me he met me before. He still had the tract in his back pack that he had not yet read. Then I recalled I did not have enough time to finish the gospel last time. So it was perfect for me to pick up from where we left off last time and finished the gospel sharing this time. So it was God who made our 2nd encounter happen to serve His purpose to save Jerrod.

2) Then I approached Lily she alo said she had chatted with Winnie last week. I did the needed follow up to make sure she fully understood her need for Jesus as her saviour.

3) Then I talked to a Caribbean girl just in time before the bus came. She took the tract which I was determined to give her to make sure that the message I shared will be reinforced by the tract.

4) A South American lady took the tract but had to rush away to avoid further chat.

5) Another Chinese girl could only take the tract as the bus came that ended our conversation right away.

6) Finally, I saw a Middle East look person who took the tract from Johnny but did not stop for a chat. Instead he started reading the tract when he walked to the bus stop. He read the tract seriously so I waited until he finished. Instead of letting me to evangelize him, Jiam declared he is a Muslim and taking the initiative to elaborate on the differences of doctrine between Islam and Christianity. I opined that this was again God's design to let me know from a Muslim perspective about their faith so that I can find a better angle to evangelize Muslim in the future.

Basically Muslims deem that Allah God have the full power to forgive sin. As long as human admit we are sinner, simply ask for direct forgiveness from God should be enough. Noticed here that Muslim has no sense of the need for taking punishment of our sin. God's verbal approval is good enough for anyone one's sins be waived. Also in Muslim belief, God only cares about major sin that we have really acted them out. For all other trivial sins especially those that remain as thought but no real act of crime. They will not be counted. So this mind set would fit best in the Good person scenario. The more good work we have done the better chance we can earn forgiveness from God on major sins. I will never learn this Muslim mindset if not prompted by God to let this friendly Muslim guy to tell it to me.

(*) She declined the approach by Yan but was intercepted by Winnie not knowing she had rejected to even taking the tract.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong Village on September 8, 2020 from 1330 to 1500

Today was a warm day . It was also a bit dry despite it is just he beginning of Spring into its 2nd week. The dryness applied also to today outreach. It was rare that all the four team mates persistently face rejection and got comparatively less divine chatting appointment for Gospel sharing conversation. This was particularly a testing lesson for the new members Yan Chang who joined us the 2nd time after a long rest. We all have to learn that , God is in control in all circumstances and there is always a lesson for us to learn to be patience and submit to God's timing and plan.

Comparatively, Winnie had got the most number of conversation. So it also shows that the election of God to be His messenger does not depend on our experience and skill level. It is all the sovereign work of God in operation. All is needed is trust and obey.

Recap below is the four significant conversations I had after being rejected numerous times.

1) A Black Christian did not stop when Winnie approached him. But when he took his seat to wait for the bus, he responded to my approach asking what the tract is. When he found out it is a gospel tract, he declared he is a Christian. I immediately switched to ask him the two diagnosis questions. But it was too late to get a response as the bus just came by that time. Anyhow, the man express His respect to our street evangelism ministry. Hopefully he will be motivated to do likewise.

2) Another Old man also rejected Winnie's approach but agreed to talk while waiting for the bus. The bus came very fast. I could only manged to share the nutshell of the gospel and handed him a tract.

3) A Muslim background UQ student showed initial rejection. I changed tactic to chat on migration policy and finally shared the full gospel before teh bus arrived.

4) Oscar was the only one who show receptive attitude toward gospel. He was very attentive and agreed on whatever I shared. Pray for him to read the tract and touch by God for a fruit bearing conversion.

Operation 513 Battle Lof for Tooowng Village on Wednesday September 1, 2020 from 1330 to 1500

On the first day of Spring, we have resumed by grace the street evangelism at Toowong despite the Covid-19 community cluster outbreak is still posing threat of heath to the Queenslander in general. To me, it was also a very special new day after the birth of my 2nd Grand child Hannah the baby girl yesterday evening. Going on to the street again for the Lord needs to pay a price for not being able to visit Hannah as well as the whole family for an indefinite period until the covid-19 infection is over. But it is a worthy price to pay as it may be used by God to give birth to many spiritual new life by the almighty power of the Gospel.

Actually , every team mate has their price to pay. Winnie has to travel 1.5 hours by train one way to join this 1.5 hour street evangelism every week with her Husband coming along to support her. Gary Nean our Aussie team mate has to carry two big signs with gospel message by train. Johnny of course has to exert extra responsibility as both our physical and spiritual leader.

Apart from preaching the gospel, God always has a side lesson for us to learn. For consecutive times, we starts sluggishly without any successful chat. It is time for us to learn to let go of our anxiety as if stripping off the coat of self pride. After we have put 100% faith in God, the divine appointments then come continuously like flow of living water that cannot be stopped. God will also raise up and use the seemingly weakest link amongst us to prove that the gospel work we have done is not because of our experience and skill but simply the sovereign power of God. Today, Winnie made 9 significant fruitful contact while Johnny and I only got less opportunities. Gary was taking position in the far end under the footbridge with result not known to us, but of course he got all his chance.

Recap here below is my battle log of 7 conversation followed by the log of Winnie in Chinese for 9 persons.

1) Jerry an local Aussie UQ student, appeared very receptive and was able to share the nutshell of the gospel before the bus came.

2) A Korean girl initially not wanting to chat but was impressed by my sincerity as such I was able to finish sharing the gospel in a nutshell only just in time when the bus arrived.

3) I Met Wasi a Nigerian Christian. He was the rare one with clear and hundred percent assurance of salvation faith. I was able to Supplement him with the threefold of salvation as per 2 Cor 1:10. He even eagerly checked up the bible verse to get what I wanted to share with him. Our sharing also could not last long because of the arrival of the bus.

4) Suby an Indian young woman after showing initial reluctance to stop for a chat, she claimed she is a Christian and her uncle is a pastor. But she showed no correct understanding of gospel lacking full assurance of assurance. Thanks God I finally managed to make here understand she should have 100% , not even 99.99%, assurance of salvation simply because of Christ alone.

5) I followed up with the girl Lucy that Gary chatted a while ago and left for the bus stop. When I asked her if she thinks she can go to heaven by being a good person, she failed to grasp the essence of the gospel. So I gave her a bit more explanation luckily before the bus came.

6) Cathy a catholic Filipino initially rejected to take a tract as she thought she does not need to hear th gospel again. But she failed the diagnosis test then I took her through the gospel to establish her real basis of salvation is by Christ alone as such she should have 100$ faith in Jesus. At the end, she thanks for my passion to help her out to correct her misconception about redemptive grace.

7) Chrystal, a Malaysian Chinese Christian. Thanks God she is the rare one like Wasi today that have 100% assurance of salvation.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong Village on Tuesday July 28, 2020 from 1330 - 1500

We were over joy to have Yan Chang from Toowong Baptist joining us through invitation of Johnny. Naturally she partnered with Johnny to observe and learn how to do street evangelism partly by our skill but mainly by the power of God through the work of the Holy Spirit in us to stop the right person at the right moment sowing the seed of Gospel. God repeated His trick like last week testing our faith and patience to wait before him. Despite we have opening prayer every time before we started as a team, this time , God let no one stop for a chat for the initial 15-20min. It was OK for Johnny and Yan as Johnny was taking the time to teach Yan. But for us, we knew we have to initiate a second tier of prayer. So Winnie took up to pray for divine appointments. And really soon after that, both Winnie and me as a team and Johnny and Yan as another team started having gospel sharing opportunities. Johnny had four long chats while Winnie had Eight chats reaching out to 10 people as shared below in Chinese with my English translation.

As for me, I still played an inactive role only getting overflow gospel targets if everyone else were engaged in gospel conversation. As a result I only had four short conversations as recap below.

1) Esther an UQ student from Venezuela. She took the tract from Winnie but walk on. So I asked if I can walk with her for a while to share about the tract which she agreed. After a while, She declared she is a Christian but failed the diagnosis test having no assurance of salvation. So even though she was in a hurry, I was able to get her understand our salvation was the work of Christ and Christ alone that we only need to accept it by grace through faith. She acknowledged it with thanks and went home with peace in her mind.

2) Daniel, a local Aussie from NSW, again took a tract from Winnie but did not stop. So I asked for his permission to share the gospel with him and he politely stopped for a while. So, basically he is a non-believer and heard the Gospel for the first time. He found it sensible and logical to admit he is a sinner despite also a good person and he needs Jesus to take his place for the punishment of sin. He promise to pursue God when he get back to NSW. He is a mechanic but caught locked up here in Queensland because of the Covic -19 .

3) I Followed up with a Singapore girl whom Winnie had approached. She is a Catholic background Christian who has noa assurance of salvation. SO I help her to know that she is saved by grace through faith in Christ alone so as to help her to establish 100% assurance of salvation in Christ.

4) A local Aussie men in black graciously took my tract and happy to listen to my gospel sharing. It was a pity I only had time enough for the nutshell of gospel before the bus came. Trust in God anyway for follow up work.

The first and second are UQ students Fay and Lisa from Shanghai. They heard the gospel for the first time and were willing to go to church near by in St Lucia.

The third is a Country woman of Catholic background. She did not want to chat but took the tract and read it right away while waiting for her friend's call. Afterwards Winnie was able to have a brief chat to found out she is already a Christian but obviously not have full understanding of Salvation.

The 4th was a Chinese lady, the bus came when I only shared half of the gospel.

The 5th was George also an UQ student from China. After chatting, I found him a doctrinally sound Christian having correct understanding of salvation.

The 6th was an UQ student from Macau. He listened to the gospel for the first time. Afterwards, he was willing to accept Christ and wanted to go to church.

The 7th was an UQ student from Singapore of Catholic background.

The 8th and 9the were an Indian Couples, the man initially declined but the wife wanted to hear the gospel. Praise the Lord.

The 8th was a local Aussie elderly man. He was glad to be approached and heard the gospel for the first time but also showed willingness to accept Christ and want to go to church.

Thanks God for His guidance and listening to our prayers for bringing above people to us to hear the gospel and to accept Christ or expressed desire to pursue knowing more about Christ.
