Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday March 12th, 2025 from 1300-1430
Brisbane has basically returned normal from the aftermath of Cyclone Alfred. Ann and Hung were both back to Sunnybank at the normal time. The work of thew Holy Spirit was vividly apparent there as such most people we approached, Christians and non-believers inclusive, were all very open, friendly and receptive to the message shared. Recap are the highlight of some of the conversation in those divine encounters.
1) I was ;ed to approach Ken from Jiangsu, Suzhou江蘇蘇州. He is a UQ student waiting for his two classmates, rapport was built nicely through sharing first my China travelling experience including Suzhou. It provide a smooth leading to sharing of Gospel of which Ken appeared open and receptive.
2) Next was Queenie a Catholic Christian from Filipine. She comes for college study in English,, Through the assurance test, she was diagnosed to have only 20% of assurance of salvation but has been joyfully clarified.
3) Same applied to Junior an UQ student a Tonga origin guy but from New Zealand and now also called Australian home. He got 95% of assurance of salvation which of course is not right. Again he felt blessings to have it clarified and now he embrace 100% assurance of salvation purely because of Jesus' redemptive work.
4) Then attempt was made to approach an Indian lady with half success as she was in a hurry for meeting a friend else where but still nutshell of the gospel with a tract was given out.
5) Another highlight was with a Japanese lady Semi from Tokyo coming to Australia as a working holiday after she worked for 4 year as a teacher in Japan. She chose to come back to refresh her memory as an exchange student of an Australian State High School. Thus her English and my Japanese are both good enough for gospel sharing.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday March 5th, 2025 from 0930-1030
Because of the imminent direct hit on Brisbane by the typhoon Alfred, I decided to do the street outreach earlier in the morning and let other team members who live farther away to take a rest. The wind was stronger but still not threatening yet. However the people flow was significantly less. I had to wait at the bus stop empty without persons for many long period. Nevertheless, I still managed to have several quality chat as recap below.
1) Perlman is a migrant from India. He received Christ here in Australia. So I switched to test his assurance of salvation which is 100% but the reason for it is not absolutely clear as such I need to clarify by giving him a recap of the gospel which he humbly accepted with appreciation.
2) Next was Wang from Guangzhou, China but his Cantonese is not fluent. He was taking a rest at the bus stop so it gave me plenty of time to share him the full Gospel. He appeared open and receptive to the gospel possibly also because there was no other Chinese around when we chatted.
3) Then I approached An UQ student Ma from Shandong doing study on Economics like myself. It quickly helped building rapport and receptiveness of gospel till his bus arrived.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday February 26th, 2025 from 1300-1500
Today, Ann and Hung turned up with Edwin occupied by church's Ad hoc ministry. It was an usual day that God led us to approach people from different cultural background.
1) Attempted to approach an Aboriginal family but the father decline my approach despite they still have to wait a long time for their bus.
2) Then I caught up with a UQ student from Taiwan doing a Master of business. It was a pity his bus came too quick.
3) Then I tried to catch up with a Chinese lady who had just missed her bus. But she was busy on the phone informing her friend about the lateness.
4) Then I was led to approach Kyle whose Mum is Chinese and Dad is Aussie. He is a Christian who has 100% of assurance of salvation but need brushing up on the why? Anyway, it was a delightful long chat to strengthen his faith.
5) Next was an Indian woman who did not want to chat but took a tract.
6) Next was a mainlander who allowed me to share the gospel but at the end claimed that he is a non believer.
7) Next was a chat with a UQ student from Thailand. Despite he is a Buddhist but he still remain open and objective to the gospel.
8 ) Last was a Filipino Catholic Christian, who is lack of assurance of salvation but clarified and showed appreciation by a selfie photo.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday February 19th, 2025 from 1300-1500
Today, Ann and Hung turned up with Edwin chipping in for a short while. It was an amazing day of outreach characterized by two outward expressions. First, several gospel targets without hesitation claimed that they have been watching me and the team to serve in Sunnybank at the bus stop, showing appreciation of our ministry there. Second, during the conversation, several target ended up asking and guessing my age that all of them thought I am around just 50 years of age but totally found dump to know I am already 72 getting to 73 in few months time. It certainly impressed them that the Christian faith and the Christian walk have compounded impact to my health both physically and spiritually speaking that I look just for ever young to live a life on mission with God. That fit with the teaching of Jesus as per Matt 24:14 that we do not just preach the Gospel to people of all nations towards the end of the world, we also bear witnesses for Christ when we proceed to do His work of global gospel outreach that people may recognize we are really the blessed ambassador for Christ. Recap below is the Battle Log for Hung:
1) The first Chinese woman I approached claimed to be a fan of our team, having been watching us serving there for years. So she said , she heard the message many times already and referred me to speak to another young guy from China.
2) The Young guy is a new student of QUT from China, he showed interest in my conversation with that lady. So I switched to chat with him for a while before the bus came.
3) Third was Terry a Catholic Christian lady who also claimed she just chatted with me two weeks ago. But she still patiently and humbly listened to my revision of the gospel. She out of the blue offered to guess my age as 50 and was surprised that I am 72 going to be 73. It was possibly because she felt the passion in side me to preach the gospel so earnestly.
4) Then I was led to approach a nurse from Sunnybank private. I jokingly said I am a loyal customer of the hospital because of my Bladder cancer treatment there in the past 4 years. She appeared a bit avoidance to cut the conversation short in view of the approaching bus that she did not want to miss.
5) Then I was led to chat with a matured man from Shangdong. China. After listening my gospel, he also suddenly offered to guess my age and said I am 50 like Terry. I supposed he was also impressed by my passion to share the gospel as if I am still young enough for this ministry.
6) Next was a girl from a city near Bangkok in Thailand. She comes to do TESOL study. She was also receptive to the Gospel.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday February 5th, 2025 from 1300-1500
Today, Johnny, Ann and Hung were available to team up at Sunnybank for Street Gospel Outreach. There was intermittent rain, but as usual, it never could deter the fire of the Gospel warrior squad to retreat from the fore front battle line preaching gospel to people of all nations. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung: -
1) Lin林 from Singapore gave hung a big hand wave while we were doing our opening prayer. I was thus attracted to approach him to check if we had met before but found out it was an innocent mistake, Mr. Lin was only waving to stop the bus from leaving but he failed as such it became the first divine appointment for me to chat for a long while with Lin. He is non-religious, but embrace freedom of religion. He has open mind and rational thinking to grasp my gospel presentation logic that as long as we are not perfect, we all need help from a perfect third party human to be our atoning savior taking our place to received punishment of our sin. Who ever in our life time accepted Jesus as our Savior then his/her life will be saved with heavenly citizenship granted to us with immediate effect 100% be3casue of Jesus' redemptive acts, none because of our good deeds. Lin admitted it made a lot of sense and promise to ponder to make his final step of faith to grab the gift of grace of eternal life offered for free by Jesus.
2) Then I was led to approach Henry from a small Islander country near Fiji called Kiribati. He was of Catholic Christian family background as such his answer to the 2 questions for testing assurance of salvation all failed. It indicated he seriously is not yet a genuine Christian without the step of repentant from sin and overtly accepted Jesus as Savior. He however is a very lay back and humble person, who like to share a lot about his Chinese blood background. His Chinese name is sort of Chi feng and his father name is Choi Kwong. Both a native born in Kiribati. He came to Australia for a short course and has not decided yet if he want to stay for ever. I urge him to consider migration to Heaven even more seriously than to migrate to Australia. And he laughingly agreed.
3) Ben is an Australian born Vietnamese. Because of his upbringing in Australia with less influence from Buddhism, he appeared all open and receptive to the Gospel.
4) A Landscaper of heavy duty labor job who has to start working from 5am to mid day, as such he leads a very healthy sleeping habit turning to bed at 7pm and waking up 1 or 2 am for the early start of landscape work. He absolutely did not want me to share gospel or anything religious to him , but I used his work and his discipline healthy life as an analogy that we also need a very healthy and pure spiritual life which have been contaminated by sin. He ended up giving me a fist pump on setting apart for the bus to acknowledge his acceptance of me as a friend.
Don’t want to chat religion but life is ok sleep by 7 pm
5) Lastly I caught up with Genti from India now staying in Australia on a TR permit for a short course. Her English is not good but we still manage to communicate to let me share the full gospel to her.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday January 29, 2025 from 1300-1500
Today is the Chinese New Year Day, or the first day of the year of snake.
歲首年終,龍去蛇來,祝願大家:At the end of the year, the dragon is gone and the snake is coming. I wish you all:
靈巧像蛇,馴良像鴿子。(馬太福音10:16)Wise as serpents, innocent as doves. (Matthew 10:16)
This means that we need to be as shrewd and agile as snakes, knowing how to act according to circumstances and to adapt to changes at any time. However, we also need to be like doves, with good and pure intentions. It is true that “you should not have the intention to harm others, but you must be on guard against others”, so the Bible reminds us again and again: “Be careful so that no one especially Satan may deceive you.
Edwin was occupied by family affair to take care of in law on the eve of her returning to China. So only Johnny and Hung were available. As for Hung, he hurt his back for doing over an hour of garden tidy up as such he retired earlier. But all in all, it was a good start for the Gospel outreach ministry that the team in majority keep having at least one to serve as their commitment to God in the long haul.
For the shorter time of about an hour of street outreach. Hung made following approaches: -
1) Chatted with an Australian Born Mainliner high school kid that does not speak Chinese, used Australian slang ,"fair dinkum' as gag to convey the message that we have to be perfect for admission to heaven.
2) Then connected with an Australian born Japanese girl of UQ first year. My Japanese is better than her. Also used the same fair dinkum slang.
3) Then approached a Family of 3 with a young kid migrated to Australian from Fujian. Chatted mainly with the father though using the tract as a gift of cartoon pictures to the kid first. The conversation went well and the father appeared very open and receptive to the gospel message.
4) Last but not the least I connected with a Fiji born Chinese but he could speak fluent Chinese. He is non religious but has studied Bible of both the Mormon and Biblical version. His interaction and response again is all positive.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday January 22, 2025 from 1300-1500
Oh, what a scorching hot day with temperature soaring up to 37/8C at Sunnybank. Even my car issued an extreme heat warning. But defying such lethal weather conditions, all four of the Gospel Street outreach warriors still assemble to serve at Sunnybank. There were obvious team work orchestrated by God through the work of the Holy Spirit letting us to first get connected then by the move of the Spirit we referred the target to a most suitable team mate. Sometime, the Spirit also will lead us to meet those we chatted before for follow up chat. All in all, it was a real demonstration of on mission with God as a body of Christ. Recap below was the Battle Log of Hung.
1) Two young man originally attending Joy Methodist but now have switched to CCCCB Cooper Plains. They are keen in the faith and have assurance of salvation by concept, but when pushed deep, they still could not stand firm to have 100% assurance. It was a pity their bus came, so could wait for the next divine encounter.
2) Next was an ABC mature young man at his 30. His parent is from HKG. He appeared polite to keep listening but his heart was not open and message shared remain skeptical to his own perception. Could only pray for God's way and timing.
3) Then connected with an India coming for study at UQ, despite he is of Hinduism faith, but he has good attitude to listen and showed a certain degree of receptiveness to the Gospel message admitting every one need repentance and salvation.
4) Then connected with Ethan again whom I met for the first time two weeks ago. He is a new convert for one year and is attending SIC. I skip the gospel message first but proceed to check for his assurance of salvation which is only at 60 % level. Since he was only waiting to meet a friend here so, I had more time to clarified his incomplete understanding about salvation by grace thru faith that no one can earn by our limited good deeds but has to 100% rely on the work of Jesus dying for us and taking our place to receive the eternal death punishment of our sins. I took the chance to chip in more basic doctrinal teachings that had caught his attention and interest even after his friend had arrived. He thanked for my sharing from the bottom of his heart and joyfully took selfie with me.
5) Then I was led to approach a dating couples of Chinese girl and local Aussie boy. They are approachable and willing to listen. Just barely have time to share the nutshell of the gospel to them when their bus arrived.
6) Then a group of school kids suddenly turned up and Johnny grabbed the chance to preach to the group and I was moved to quickly partner with him to hand out tracts to all the kids just in time when their bus arrived.
7) Then Edwin first approached an elderly lady Yang from Tsingdao , China who has migrated to Australia marrying to a local Aussie man. She originally excused not to chat as she needed to push the trolley to the collect depot. I volunteered to do it for her so that Edwin could keep on with the chat. When I returned, Johnny also joined in and found out that she is familiarized with Shaun Bao and remain on contact for devotional text. I chipped in to acknowledge I know Shaun and then took over the chat. She indicated she is from Christian family back in China. But she only attend local Aussie church sparingly. I any how test her assurance of salivation and found out that she does not know clearly the bible teaching of salvation by faith through grace but keep using personal divine healing experience as ground for her salvation status. It took a hard time to clarify it is all because of the work of Jesus dying for us.
8 ) Next was two grade 9 high school kid from China of which one is from Lanzhou蘭州by the name of Jiang江 . We quickly built rapport and he seemingly was not alerted to reject Gospel, so he behaved very open and receptive to the gospel to the extent he did not mind to have selfie with me.
9) Last but not the least, I was led to approach another elderly lady from Mainland China who has migrated to Australia for 50 years.
Pity the bus came to cut our Gospel conversation short.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday January 15, 2025 from 1300-1500
It was again a very fruitful afternoon doing street outreach as a team of four i.e. Johnny , Edwin, Ann & Hung with heap of conversations especially the last one with Brother Liu from China who is keen to study Theology in a more systematic way, so I took the chance to introduce him to Kairos which I reckon is the best comprehensive study of God mission and His requirement for us to work with him leading a life on mission with God. Recap below was some of the meaningful conversation.
1) After letting the team to settle down , my first approach was to Natarsha who actually came from Cairns belonging to the Wakaja tribe and Bunda Bunda clan. She is sort of Christian but obviously lack discipleship teaching and her assurance of salvation is 80%. I took all the time I have (she even skipped her bus to keep talking with me) to clarify and helped her to understand fully about salvation by grace through faith all because of Jesus sufficient redemptive work that readily guarantee to us to reconcile with God as such to have received 100% back our heavenly citizenship. She is a very humble and willing learner and rejoiced to know I may go to Cairns in August for mission with the Yarrabah Church.
2) Next was Adam whom I met and chatted several time, but to day Ann invited him to know us in person and have longer chat first with me and then Johnny. Basically his understanding of the Bible and salvation is very fragmentated if not incomplete. His past life experience has caused him much traumatized impact to his mental as well as spirituality. Johnny admitted he only lend a listening ears to Adam to let him feel respected and acceptance. We all pray that in times we will adjust and correct all those problematic understanding of faith and Bible. It was great Ann invited him to yum cha afterwards providing some sort of assertion therapy.
3) Then I have a comparatively long chat with a Filipino lady of Catholic background, and obviously she all is lacking 100 % assurance of salvation which was clarified.
4) Joanna from Taiwan is a non-believers. But she was open and humble to listen to the full gospel sharing and found it very reasonable and logical to know that good is not good enough that we are all imperfect sinner that need the salvation of Jesus to cleanse our sin.
5) Lastly it was Liu as mentioned above. He possibly is the first one who ask voluntarily to go to church with a purpose to learn more about Biblical Doctrine and theology.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday January 8, 2025 from 1230-1400
Today, I also started the street outreach at Sunnybank for the first time in 2025 by myself. It requires oil in my lamp by the Holy Spirit to push for the extra step in approaching the elected targets in defying timidity and helplessness in flesh.
I waited for the bus arriving in 3 minutes to come and go, thence the bus stop was left with no person except a young man sitting on the bench away from the covered area of the bus stop. So, that was the first one I was led to approach. He is Ethan , a new convert for one year and is attending SIC.
Next was a non-believer from Shangdong山東, China who studied Business Management at CQU. He was on his shopping errand today but appeared comparatively open despite knowing it is about Christianity. I was able to share him the full gospel mingled with my personal testimony of God's healing my Bladder cancer. The bus came just on time when I finished the full gospel so he rush ed off for the bus though still taken a tract from me.
Then, the bus stop was left with one lady again. When I approached her, she immediately claimed I chatted with her before and she was busy in doing a lot of texting on the phone with her friends. I waited patiently but moved on after a long while that there was no sign her texting communication will cease any time soon. But I still thank for the unsuccessful encounter that at least reminded here about the need for repentant and to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord of our life.
After another few unsuccessful approach, I was led to lock on with Ervine, a Filipino Catholic Christian who only has 50% of assurance. Again, I was given enough time to clarify the misconception with him and he felt pumped to have new motivation to follow Jesus and be transformed day by day towards perfection through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday Dec 11th, 2024 from 1330-1430
Despite of continuous adverse weather situation, the regular four Street Outreach gospel warrior Johnny, Ann, Edwin and Hung still turned up to exercise our due diligent to preach the gospel irrespective of external environment. But the weather did turn very rough with storm and hail looming, Johnny made the call to finish half and our earlier to let every one drive home safely. Thus with a short period, I only recorded five gospel conversations but all are long and meaningful communication as recap below:-
1) First I was led to approach a Local Aussie girl who moved her stuff to spare space welcoming me to have a chat. I started with the Merry Christmas gag that successfully drawn her attention to Jesus as the reason for the season, And that His birth brought along "Merry" an ancient English word to symbolize a kind of power that are capable to transform our life setting free from the bondage of sin. She is not religious, but it was a more lively way to challenge her to face the real meaning of Christmas.
2) Then I was attracted to a mother with her grown up daughter that first was approached by Edwin. He was misled by them that they are readily church going Christian thus no need for the gospel. I was moved anyway to take up from there to test their assurance of salvation. But I was surprised to find out that they are non-believers and at best be called seekers. So I anyway share the mum full gospel with the daughter not paying full attention by her side.
3) Next I was led to approach an Indian middle age man who migrated to Australia at early childhood age. He was friendly and found the real meaning of "merry Christmas" interesting. He is non Christian, but are familiar with some of the Christmas related facts. So he appeared completely open and receptive to the gospel building on the new understanding of Merry being power brought by Jesus' birth.
4) Then I had a long chat with a Catholic background Filipino. He typically have no assurance of salvation but as low as only a mere 20% level. But after clarification, he happily acknowledge he should have 100% assurance that because of Jesus' sacrificial death he readily has received the free gift of eternally life from Jesus and on this basis, God is determined to further transform his life back to 100% purity. He joyously took a selfie with me.
5) Then we encountered a PNG family of 3 with Mum and 1 grown up son and a younger sister. Johnny approached the adult son first and passed him all the gospel tract. I was moved to take on to check his assurance of salvation which is correctly 100% but he failed to account for the reason why. Anyway, God moved me to share a long time with him enriching and deepening his understand of the Bible about Jesus, His earthly ministry and His mission to kick off the long planned Dual Kingdom & Salvation Project as per Gen3:15b. He also merrily took a selfie with me.
