Praise and thanks God that Gary resumed street outreach today at Sunnybank by himself. I was not aware of his decision to go out there again. So I can only join him next week with or without mask. He reported "Back to an old fishing hole again today for outreach. Pray that those who heard the gospel way of salvation see and comprehend it. He (Jesus) lay aside his Glory - a gift for all."

Anyway, both the Chinese Churches in the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast have decided to resume outreach respectively tomorrow at Southport in the vicinity of Australia Fair 1300 to 1430 and at Mooloolaba near the Surf Club at 1030 - 1200 on Friday.

May the Spirit of God be with His faithful servants enclothing them with the glory and protection of God in the form of the full armour of God.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday June 23, 2021 from 1300 to 1500

Today our team was down back to the regular three , namely Johnny, Gary and Hung. Gary set up signs on both side of the road and he took position first on the Sunny Park East side of the bridge and Johnny & Hung worked together on the Sunnybank Plaza side at the bus stop with Gary joining us towards the ending hour of our ministry. It was a normal day with both rejections and some good chats with local Aussies, Korean, Taiwanese, and Vietnamese Australian born younger generations. We also met with Islamic people from East Africa, and Uygur of China and Hinduism people from India and Sri Lanka. So thanks and praise God to use us to be the light of the gentles of all nations. Recap below is my God led conversations.

1) Kalim is from an East African country he did want to disclose. He possibly is a Muslim but appeared very open to my sharing of the Gospel showing good receptiveness. He showed complete understanding of the Gospel and what Jesus did to die for us to take our place to receive the punishment of our sin. It would have been just a step away from receiving Jesus by grace through faith.

2) Helen a middle age lady from Shanghai and greeted me with warm smile claiming that she chatted with me a few month ago as such she fully recognized me. I then asked what was her result of reading the tract. She said she actually understood and in agreement with the gospel message that we all need Jesus to cleanse of our sins. Though she has not yet received Christ, she did attend church sporadically when she was in Sydney with her mum and brothers who are all church going Christians. After moving to Brisbane living near Garden City, she has been trying to look for a church. I recommended her to attend either the Sunnybank District Baptist Church or the South Side International Church both with a large Mandarin congregation with majority of members from China. She promised to make a move to join the church and let’s pray for her action of faith.

3) Kui kui is a student from Shanghai. He is an atheist rejecting to discuss anything about religion. But he still was willing to chat when I changed the approach to treat the Good Person question an a significant life issue, although he appeared very cool and emotionless while listening, God did soften his heart to follow the logic of the gospel message with no resentment. He finally took the tract when the bus came and pray for God’s continuous work on him.

4) Daniel a local Aussie who is Christian though not a church goer disguising as a non-Christian to hear what I was going to share with him. As soon as I knew he is a Christian, I posed the two diagnosis questions to check his assurance of salvation and he got it all right. So, he is a fair dinkum Christian but stopped going to church as a result of moving around for jobs. He admitted it is no good to not attend church and again I recommended both SDBC and SIC which he both had attended lately. I hope our long conversation would encourage and mobilize him to find a church for regular attendance.

5) Then I spoke to a Taiwan lady who appeared clam with not much emotional expression but politely listened to the gospel till the bus came. I could not be sure if she found the gospel appealing or not and I could leave it all to God.

6) Paul an Australian born Korean yet not a Christian. He has no religious view so again I share the Tract of “Are you a Good Person?” as an important life issue. He followed the logic and could not disagree with the assertion that we are all sinners that need Jesus as our saviour. Pray again for God’s follow up work.

7) Peter yet another Australian born Taiwanese. He actually had listened to our gospel sharing with other people around so he could give his responsive comment. Again, he could not argue the statement that we are all sinners needing Jesus as our Saviour. I asked him to read the tract and seek God’s revelation to guide his last step of faith to receive Christ as his personal Saviour.

( 8 ) Finally I approached a Uygur lady who answered me she is Chinese and was nominated to come to study as such she has a lot of constraint and restriction including not touching upon Christianity or other world religion. Despite of her outright rejection to hear the gospel, I still got a friendly short chat knowing above details about her but she still eventually chose to end the conversation and move away to avoid me. Pray that this unsuccessful approach still would bear God’s plan and will for that Islamic background young lady during her stay here in Australia.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 1300-1500

What a glorious day of Street Evangelism augmented by God. Our prayer for more gospel warriors has been answered so prominently today that a team of three from the Rock Church nearby i.e. Pastor Shu He David Zhang, wife Zhen Zhen, and member Linda turned up to day. Meantime, Hai Yue the graduate of the 6th Online Kairos also came for the 2nd time on her rest day of the busy rooster duty schedule of an Intern Doctor of the Royal Brisbane Hospital. So together with Gary, Johnny and Hung, God has raised up a big team of 7 persons to serve and partner with God. We spread out to two spots, one being the foot of the pedestrian bridge outside the Pharmacy Warehouse and the other at the bus stop. Actually, Haiyue who arrived a bit late served without boundary but all over the place as God led her to get hold of people between the aforementioned two spots.

It was so obvious that the Spirit was with us all the time empowering all of us to get many divine appointments to share gospel to many people of different nationality. Most were first encounter but some were reunion with persons having a chat before for us to do follow up and giving away encouragement and blessing for them to get a step closer to receiving Christ.

1) Mr Zhou 周 from Mainland China 大陸 came to Australia to do primary school 小學 as such he is more or less a fully integrated Australian. He is now doing first year 大一 at QUT as such he appeared more open to gospel message than other Mainlanders. Thanks God I had enough time to share the full gospel before the bus came just falling short of a final wrap up to seek for his instant response. But God certainly will follow up on him through his apparent receptiveness to the gospel message.

2) Then I shared with two local Aussie young ladies. They look like the modern generation with stylist dress code. Yes , they also appeared very humble and a good listener. They also were able to respond and interact to show their understanding of the sinful human nature that we are all good but not perfect that still need the salvation of Jesus. So they left with a more positive indication to accept Jesus in God’s timing.

3) Then I had a long chat with a middle age lady from Hong Kong referred to me by Johnny. I share a bit of my background to identify with her as Hongkonger. But she has a lot of superstition biased mindset derived from Buddhism. 佛教,she refused to admit that she is a sinner but kept insisting she has done her best not to sin. And she certainly will be saved through cumulating her life account with good deeds. I challenged her with the analogy of speed fine to a good driver breaking no law for 10 year but would she be waived with the fine by a good past driving record. She could not argue but then turn irrational insisting that what she is practicing to gain credit by good deeds is the right way for her to conduct her life without regret or worry of eternal judgment by God. Despite of the unfavourable final response, I still have faith in God to soften her heart and turn around her bias mind one day.

4) Two elderly were not that positive to have a chat, but I still managed to share him the nutshell of the gospel before the bus came.

5) An old man seemingly from Shanghai 老上海 was very talkative but he held the stance that he will only believe in what he can see like Thomas in the NT time. 見才信. I used many analogies to tell him that in actual life situation, there are many instances that we just believe first before we see or understand the logic or functionality of some product/ device.

6) A Filipino old lady 菲老太 claimed to be a Catholic 天主教 Christian, but she has no knowledge of the Bible and no understanding of Jesus salvation passage. She just does not bother to understand why she is saved but just blindly adopted the label as Christian given to her by her family. Her heart and mind is as hard as many non-believers so I have to let go after doing my best to clarify the real meaning of being saved by grace through faith in Christ.,

7) Two English speaking Asian looking persons reluctantly took the tract and listened to the gospel for a short while before the bus arrived.

( 8 )Then at the end , I met Vienna a local Aussie and Colene a Vietnamese origin both are high school girl of the Sunnybank State High School. Actually, Vienna recognized me and smiled at me first. I took a while to recall and ascertain I chatted with her two weeks ago. She read the tract and have no reason to have objection to the gospel message. She anyway just uses the excuse that she is not a religious person as such there is not immediate urgency for her to make up her mind. But I shared with her that no human can have full control of our life like myself having got Bladder Cancer all at a sudden out of the blue. So, it is important to treat each day as out last day of our life and to make decision critical for securing our eternal life before we pass away. I guessed my sharing touched both of them and we parted by taking a group selfie so that I will recognize them next time we met if not in this world and hopefully will certainly be in heaven in eternity.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Sunnybank on Wednesday June 2nd, 2021 from 1300 to 1500.

By the grace of God, Johnny, Gary and Hung turned up for this regular Street Evangelism ministry at Sunnybank. Gary moved around between the two sides of Sunnybank while Johnny and Hung stayed mainly on the West side of the Sunnybank Plaza front. Again, it was a fruitful day with almost non-stop gospel conversations to people of all nations. God used us to reach out to people of both same culture Chinese from Taiwan, Mainland China and Hong Kong and cross-cultural people group from Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Philippine, Ireland, UEA etc. I was most impressed to see Gary stopped a group of 5 Chinese ladies possibly from mainland China to listen to his gospel sharing. I bet they would not stop for me a Chinese looking man but would react to feeling obliged to stop to listen to a Western person with an earnest expression. God is really the one who is in control of all the divine appointments assignment entrusted to us as His servant and messenger to convey good news to people of all nations.

Recap below were the 8 conversations given to me by God: -

1) Johnny first chatted with Madam Changå¼µ from Fuzhou 福州China. She is attending Logos Christian Church 恩道but with incomplete understanding of faith. Since she claimed she chatted with me before so Johnny just let me take over the chat. It was lucky that her bus took long time to come so I can kept sharing till the bus came. Pray that she will humble herself to really join the church’s Bible study to get all her query about the Christian faith clear.

2) Then I approached an English-speaking Indonesia lady and shared the gospel just before the bus arrived.

3) Eason a Vietnamese middle age man who claimed to be a Christian after I shared him the gospel for a while. But his response to my question at the beginning did not show he has assurance of salvation but it was a pity I had no time to correct him because the bus just arrived then.

4) I approached another Muslim Girl who was very responsive to my questions but again it was a pity the bus came two quick.

5) A Filipino Christian but has no knowledge of salvation, she claimed to be very busy and I volunteered to walk across the bridge with her but she seemed to be very scare of exposing her ignorance about Christianity despite claiming herself a long time Christian.

6) Vienna an Australian Born Filipino (ABF) still doing High school whom I met few weeks ago on April 28. Actually Vienna remembered exactly it was four weeks ago that we met. She said she had read the tract at home but still not ready to ponder for a commitment to accept Jesus. I went over the gospel again helping her to realize she is not perfect and does need Jesus to take her place to receive the punishment of her sins. She appeared really receptive and promised to have a good thought about it.

7) Margo an Irish did not mind to be disturbed by me while he was playing with his iPone. Overall speaking he was receptive to the message and willing to ponder to accept Christ.

(8 ) Elaine a joyous Christian from China but has no assurance of salvation thinking she only has 60% chance to Heaven. It was a pity I had no chance to help clarifying for her as the bus came. Pray for a reunion in the near future.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday May 26, 2021 from 1300 t o1500

By grace Johnny and Hung teamed up as usual at Sunnybank with Gary another regular Gospel warrior absent to day as clash with new born son’s post-natal doctor health check appointment. Today we were led by the Spirit to went back on to the East side of the Pedestrian bridge where Sunny park is. It proved to be a divine manipulation that I could lead a BST student to reunite with her Gospel mentor who waited for her on the West side where Sunny Plaza is. Moreover, both Johnny and I got very long chat with specific gospel target that they seemed to have been arranged to meet us there without any interruption by the bus arrival. The lady chatted with Johnny before actually came for Johnny stopping voluntarily to post a lot of questions to Johnny. Although we did not know for sure her motive, that whether she was seeking for clarification on queries that blocked her from making the final step of faith, or simply to show off her cleverness to give her the excuse not to make any quick commitment any sooner.

I as usual traveled between the two sides to pick up those divine appointments God had in store for me as recap below. So, it was all the work of God to lead us to speak to people of all nations including Mainlander Chinese, Hongkonger, Indian, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Maui of NZ, Pakistanis Muslim girl, local Aussie and even a ABJ Australian born Japanese as recap below: -

1) Indian Mum with her son. Took the tract, heard the nutshell of Gospel just barely in time when the bus arrived.

2) An ABC who took an English tract upon getting off the bus to meet her Chinese Mandarin speaking friend who also accepted a Chines tract. Since they had to go to meet another person elsewhere, so I could only emphasize the need for us the sinners to seek salvation from Jesus even we are regarded as a good person.

3) Then came the longest chat over 40 minutes in my late street evangelism. With Nee(倪) a Cambodia woman 柬國人 whose home town is Swatow, China.潮州,But she can speak fluent Cantonese 廣東話 by just living in HKG for one year as a tourist. (香港一年). She was spared from genocide by the Pol Pot Khmer Rouge regime by fleeing to Thailand(走難泰國), than she was rescued by other family members to have migrated to Australia becoming an Aussie citizen. 來澳 She claimed herself a pious Buddhist leading a simple life. She actually was having a rice roll lunch at the bus stop after getting off the bus but before going for a doctor appointment. That was the reason, I can have over 40 minutes or even longer time to share the gospel and my life testimony without the need to rush against the bus arriving schedule. Her calm and peaceful temperament does show she is a professed Buddhist. I rightly shared with her that all religions are only good at guiding people to become a better self, but never providing a solution to address the issue of sin. As a sinners, even our good deeds cannot be applied to offset the punishable sin. As sinner though a good person, we will face judgment after death and be subject to eternal death punishment suffering eternally in the hell of fire. The only way out is to let a perfect person to take our place to receive the punishment due on us. Jesus is the only perfect person who is sinless to do this for us. So, the ultimate life goal for us the sinners is to regain our heavenly citizenship through the sacrificial death and atoning grace of Jesus. Once our life turned back to live God centre, pour whole value system will be transcend to eternal value rather than all the temporal values. Most importantly, we will have real inner peace and content of life irrespective of all the external threats. I shared with her my medical health new threat but it could not disrupt the inner peace that Jesus has instilled into my life. Madam Nee seemed to have been moved and impressed with the life transforming power of God. We bid farewell praying for God’s further work leading her to the final step of faith to receive Christ.

4) Kelvin a Vietnamese also a Buddhist who believed in good deeds though having read the tract. There was not enough time to have further discussion and edification to challenge his point of view despite reading the tract.

5) Outright rejection guy also by another Vietnamese but it was certainly still God’s plan to use me to give him another alert,

6) Scared away a young Muslim girl from Pakistan. It anyway was also part of God’s plan executed through me to day.

7) Then a Hongkonger took a tract without stopping. She showed receptiveness to accept the gospel tract but was really in a hurry for a doctor appointment or else she would certainly stop to speak with me a Hongkonger.香港人拿單張

😎 Stephanie waited at the wrong spot for Andrew and was found by me to show her the right side she should have gone.

9) Susanna is a Maui Christian from NZ. She has 100% assurance of salvation but was made on the wrong basis of being a baptized church goer. She is that kind of Christian who has good but just inward going church life without the sense of outreach as an ambassador of Christ to share the gospel to people of all nations. So her understanding of salvation is basically incorrect. Yet she was not patient enough to have more discussion but left with the excuse of running late for an appointment.

10) I went over the bridge back to the West side and caught up with a local Aussie who initially hid his identity as a Christian. But I quickly spotted his piece meal bible knowledge. He kept asking my denominational background as such I could not yet check out his assurance of salvation before the bus came. He anyway seemed to have interest in me but no time to get my communication info but just a tract which he thought he can locate me. So just leave it to God if any follow up needed.

11) I then caught up with an Australian Born Japanese ABJ. I spent too much time catching up and showing off my Japanese but found that she does not speak and read Japanese at all except knowing my Japanese asking for her name. I any way still managed to share the nutshell of the Gospel to her in English and left with her an English tract.

12) Then my last chat was with two ladies from Chongqing重慶, China. They were looking for their bus schedule with great doubt so I gave them a hand. I could only manage to touch base upon the gospel and heave them with a tract each.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday May 19, 2021 from 1300 – 1500

It was a gloomy afternoon, but Gary and Hung still were called to serve at Sunnybank while Johnny was not available for personal matter. God also moved and called the couples Bill Bai and Sister Lan from Chinese Christian Church of Brisbane, St Lucia Congregation to join us at 1330.

Gary first set up his signs on the East side targeting the south bound traffic to see the signs. I went over to have the opening prayer with Gary and took a few of his conversation with passer by then I returned to the West side to wait for Bill and Lan. Before the came I started approaching two persons as recap below all with very in-depth chat. After Bill and Lan arrived, I briefed them again the things to take note and the mind set to engage into street evangelism conversation that it is purely through the work and guidance of the Holy Spirit, So feel no burden to open up oneself with our mind completely preoccupied by the Holy Spirit to do His work under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Praise and thanks God that both made the step of faith to start approaching many people. Lan mostly approached those Chinese speaking people because of limited command of English. Bill can speak better English so he did dare to preach the gospel to English speaking Local Aussie. Despite the courage of Lan to approach many Chinese, she received an almost one-sided response of rejection. We had to counsel her to neglect the response whether it is positive or negative, but just look up to God to make as many outreach contacts as God led you to have through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. As a result of the heavy counselling and mentoring need for Bill and Lan, I had relatively less time to do my only outreach but still I managed to have following conversation as recap below: -

1) Katherine is a Vietnamese born here. Initially she gave outright rejection to chat or accepting tract. But when I found out she is an UQ student , so the Spirit prompted me to identify with her as the Alumni then started sharing what subject I did and why leading to a personal testimony how God moved me to do this Master degree study for gaining an identity to join the 2008 Sichuan earth quake disaster relief team partnering the HKG Counselling professional to provide post traumatic counselling. From this profession healing I led her to see that our life is all full of hurt and ruin by bad relationship twisting the normal function of emotion affecting our character growing up as an adult. It allowed me to introduce the issue of sin we all are suffering hurting each other and without peace and sense of security. So the Spirit guided me to actually share the full gospel to her with time just right before her bus arrived. I was graceful for the Wisdom from the Holy Spirit to turn around most of the initial rejection lately back into an in-depth heart sharing opportunity ending with the preaching of Gospel with better life inspiring effect. Pray that the Spirit will do follow up work on the life of Katherine.

2) Then I approached an Asian looking old lady who pretend to speak neither English or Chinese. This is part of the normal scenario in Street evangelism so I gave up after speaking a short while in all three language to make sure she really did not want to listen to me anymore.

3) Then I turned to my left to catch up with a senior man named Shang Shu尚書 from Beijing北京. He is from a Christian family with parents graduated from Catholic University in China and lead a pious life. Yet Shang Shu have all along adopt a sceptical attitude toward faith even though he still has become a church goer worshipping at an English speaking Bible Grace Church. He politely accepted by tract but with no intention to chat with me. I offered myself to keep our conversation going and eventually I started to learn more about his life though initially he did not want to let me know he is a nominal Christian. After knowing that then I changed my tactic to help him to ponder if he really understand salvation and have accepted Jesus. As expected, he actually has no assurance of salvation because he thought he is still not good enough to qualify as a Christian. This is exactly what we want to address by the tract. At then end, he now know that even though now as a Christian he is not yet perfect, but his heavenly identity has already been guaranteed by the redemptive blood of Jesus. Then at this point in time, Bill and Lan arrived to join me. Gary also went over to team up with us to get more conversation before he left a bit earlier.

4) After having a debriefing with Bill and Lan, I turned around to share with an old English lady. She also preferred not to be disturbed, but some how the Spirit moved me to keep sharing the gospel to her. She turned her face away from me started soaking which I took a while to realize. Anyway, I trusted the work of the Spirit already touched her lonely heart turning her inner emotion being released in the form of soaking before God.

5) Then I approached a Filipino young lady whom Lan had approached without success. She also turned a cold face to me but I still managed to convinced her to take our tract when the bus came.

6) Christine is a local Aussie and Phoebe an immigrant from Vietnam. Both are high school student of Sunnybank State school. They did not feel offended when I interrupted their casual chat. It ended up they were both very open and receptive to the gospel accepting that they are not perfect and need Jesus’s salvation. Pray that the Spirit will do the necessary follow up work to guide them to make the final step of faith.

7) Then I turned to a Pakistan mum with her young son needing much care to stop making a nuisance in public. I pacified the anxious son by calling him good boy. It works to make the boy quiet down to behalf as a good boy I called him. The mum was happy and I followed along this line of “Is good person good enough for Heaven” She appeared extremely positive and responsive to my gospel sharing and admitted that she also need Jesus irrespective of her Muslim religions background. So, Prayer is needed for the final change of heart of this Muslim background mum.

( 8 ) Finally I caught up with an old CFC ex-members and invited her to come back to celebrate the 24th Anniversary of CFC with us this coming Sunday on 23/5/2021. It was all the work of God to enable me to have make so many contacts , connections and conversations for His Name and glory sake.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday May 13, 2021 from 1300 - 1500

Last night there was a big overnight storm after a big sunny day. So, we predicted the weather condition will repeat itself like last week to be a rainy day for street evangelism. Actually, big storm had been forecasted but it came only very late in the evening so we have a fine day for our street ministry. Gary also turned up to day with his big sign set up on the East side of main road while Johnny and Hung stayed at the bus stop on the westside. As normal, we faced many rejections, but still got many chances to share the gospel. Today we came across many Cantonese speaking people many from Hong Kong. Some were people we met before that God had arranged for us to do follow up. Recap below are my chances of gospel conversation: -

1) The first Chinese lady I approached claimed someone talked with her last week and she is readily a Christian. It was a pity the bus arrival deprived me of a chance to check her assurance of salvation. 跟進上週,己信上帝,未遐查確據

2) the 2nd Chinese lady reluctantly accepted the tract but did not want to chat interrupting her to listen to her iPhone. 接單張但不願傾談

3) Then Tom a Hongkonger whom I met before on Mar 24, 2021. He recognized me and prompted that we did not finish our chat last time so he was ready to continue with the unfinished conversation. He identified with me with a welcoming attitude listening to my gospel sharing. I used the HK situation to illustrate that even the younger generation who rose up to fight for righteousness and justice, but no one can claim themselves perfect. So it was established that they are all good and righteous freedom fighter but still imperfect for heaven that we all need Jesus' salvation without exception. He appeared very receptive but I again fell short of leading him to make a conviction to receive Christ as the bus just arrived. Pray and trust that he will be in the good hand of God. He has come to Australia for 4 years and has just graduated. So he will have a good soil here to pursue God.

4) The trend continued that I met again another couples Mr Lee from Hong Kong who came to Australia in the 80s. 李夫婦香港人,They were friendly to chat but again the bus came too quick for a full gospel conversation,

5) Then I was led to chat with yet another Cantonese speaking people from Quanzhou. 廣州,Full gospel 全福音message was shared with result left in God's hand.

6) A man of my same age stood a small distance from the Bus stop possibly avoiding to be approached by us. Yet He was still approached by Johnny and other street evangelists that he persistently waved them off declining to engage in a chat. I nevertheless felt the Spirit still urged me to have a go by a soft approach. I offered to chat about our life in Australia and found out he is on a visiting relative visa yet has been detained here because of the pandemic. 探親滯留 He is from Shan Dong 山東by the sure name of Yu余. I first introduced myself as a HongKonger working for CH Tung in the past. So, I basically shared my testimony how I was led to Christ. He then listened on my sharing of the gospel after my testimony and heard the full gospel. He finally took a tract to have further thought on what I shared with him. And I later found out that his wife was also around and Johnny had chatted with her. So if God destine to get someone to listen to the Gospel, He has his detour method to get them on hook finally.

The weather made a sharp turnaround from a sunny & warm late Autumn Tuesday to a gloomy chilling & rainy near winter Wednesday. If not because of the passion to work with God in delivering our commitment to spread the Gospel to people of all nations, we might be tempted to stay at home for a break. Johnny originally could not come as he had a trade man job appointment to do some renovation job at his home. Yet the job was finished earlier as such he could rush to re-join me at the very last moment. The light drifting rain did not pose difficulty against our street evangelism but rather rendered us help to drive people gathering at the undercover bus stop. Yet our start was not all smooth, or in reality we faced initial rejection or no interest responses most of the time. Yet, in the Spirit and in His strength, we were both given wisdom to find the leeway to soften the cold heart and changing the negative attitude to a receptive gospel sharing happy ending. Recap below is my divine encounter with or without a conversation.

1) An elderly Chinese Diaspora man who was born in East Timor 東帝文 華僑 but with parents from the Plum Province of Quandong. 廣東梅縣,He quickly declared he is an anti-religion atheist and refused to chat anything about religion.反宗教無神論硬心. God gave me wisdom to identify with him as a Diaspora Chinese so as to keep the conversation going. Instead, I shared my testimony to have the gospel message chipped into the story of my life.

2) Then I chatted with a Muslim lady who appeared very friendly 友善回教女子 though initially declining to accept my tract, But as the conversation went on along the line of ""are you a Good Person" she came to the same understanding that no one can go to heaven by good deeds. 知非靠好行為,I told her that is exactly the message of the tract so at the end, she delightfully took a tract from me when the bus came.

3) Then a Chinese lady initially rejected my tract as she claimed she got one from one of us before.中女拒絕,曾接單張,But when I asked her to share what did she get from the tract , she admitted she had not yet read it. So, I offered to brief her about the tract and God changed her heart to listen the full gospel and turned more receptive at the end.

4) A Chinese couples boy and girl friends appeared very fearful when approached by me, They chose to move a distance away to avoid me. It just served as a reminder that people like them more so need the gospel to restore peace and remove all the fears in their lives by receiving Christ,

5) Then an elderly Chinese man mistook me as someone call Elder Ong when I approached him claiming he had got our tract before. Quickly I know he might have been approached by the Mormon æ‘©é–€Evangelist who like to give themselves the title of Elder. This brief encounter also served as a reminder for me to be more diligent in spreading the gospel then those cult group.

6) Then I was greeted by an Aussie Couples Harry and Olivia. I thought we might have chatted before but it was not the case. So I could only give credit to God granting me with this special divine appointment with them. I wasted no time to share the gospel with him and found out a bit later that Harry actually is an Orthodox Greek Christian yet with poor if not no bible knowledge. So naturally he also has no assurance of salvation. I am glad I helped him to re-establish assurance in the redemptive grace of Jesus alone. I encourage him to bring her atheist girl friend to Christ.

7) Then I approached another Chinese lady who also show initial lack of interest to chat. But I did not give up and switch to share my testimony how the gospel changes my life. She ended up deeply drawn by my testimony and the power of the gospel that she almost missed her bus which had come and stayed there already a while and was about to leave. She only came back to here sense at the last moment to get on the bus with a tract she originally rejected.

😎 Crystal is a Griffith University student from HKG. She also chose to refuse to have a chat initially. But when I found out she is from HKG and can identify with her as a Hongkonger , her defense system was disarmed and we have a very good chat on the gospel and my testimony till the bus came.

9) Joey has just migrated from Tasmania to Brisbane and lives in Brown Plain. She check the bus route number at the bus stop but messed up with the direction. God moved me to find out her need for the right direction to go back to Brown Plains. I took this as an analogy for right direction of life in Christ. I ended up walking her cross the bridge to the right bus stop on the other side. I could managed to finish the nut shell of the Gospel and finding out that her husband is a Christian. So I encourage her to take it seriously to read the tract and make the right decision to receive Christ to make her family complete in the grace of God.

10) Wayne a lady from Taiwan who initially also showed no interest to the gospel but ending up agreeing the message and guidelines is good for everyone.

11) Finally, I approached Susan who also said she got the tract but has not seriously read it. So I offered to share the nutshell of the gospel to her in case she forget to read the tract again at home. It turned out she was impressed by the message as well as my passion to testify for God.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wed April 28, 2021 from 1300 - 1500

Today we started with 3 team members Johnny, Gary and Hung. Gary still stationed on the East side where he had set up two gospel signs. Gary came over to the West side to join us in opening prayer then returned to the East side. I went over to check him out and took several photos of him chatting with various people.

Sunnybank used to be a harder land for street evangelism, but the Bus stop on the West side is always a blessed spot with many more chances of gospel chat. Johnny was very happy being able to be fully occupied in gospel chatting one after the other. He spent relatively a longer time to share with a Mun from Taiwan. I shared gospel with her couples of months ago. This was a very opportune time for Johnny to do a thorough follow up with her. Seemingly she was led to stay at the bus stop for just meeting and chatting with Johnny, as later I saw her leaving the bus stop for elsewhere in the shopping centre. God is sovereign and paves the way for us to minister to His elected ones. As for me I had seven conversations of varying length as recap below.

1) My first gospel target was a mid-age lady from Shanghai. She seemingly was checking out the bus info. I went forwards to render help and then kept sharing gospel afterwards. She politely listened my sharing before she left for her friend’s appointment. She did not showed rejection or even expression of indifference but neutrally on the receptive side possibly because of the friendliness and help I rendered to her beforehand.

2) Mr Chen a UQ student from Jiangso. Unlike most Chinese Mainlander. He listened to the gospel with patience and interest. When asked, he could not find any reason to reject the free gift of eternalize life offered by Jesus to set us free from the bondage of sin. So just pray that God grace be showered upon him when he read the tract at home.

3) Max , a Taiwanese ABC, listened to my gospel sharing also in a neutral and objective manner. He also admitted that the gospel is sensible and logical to accept. It is only a matter of time that he will make the last step of faith to receive Christ.

4) Then I picked up the head of the family of three Mr Wang from Beijing. I shared a bit of my memory at Beijing and hurriedly shared the gospel which was cut short by the bus. Mr Wang anyway took a tract and pray that it will bring impact to his life and his family.

5) Vienna is an Australian born Filipino with no faith background who never heard of the gospel. But she showed immediate willingness to accept Jesus after I shared the good news with her. She joyfully agreed to take a selfie with me to signify her appreciation for the gospel message.

6) A Chinese girl declined the tracts from another street evangelist but softened to take one tract from me. Pray for God's continuous work in her.

7) Joey an Indonesia Christian who has 100% assurance of salvation. He played trick on me pretending initially a non-believer and see if I preached the biblical gospel message. He also was willing to take a selfie with me to signify my first divine encounter with an Indonesia Christian.

Operation 513 battle log for Sunnybank on Wednesday April 21, 2021 from 1300-1500

Today, Johnny was not available so I supposed was to serve as singleton at Sunnybank. I have never done street evangelism just by myself, but I did not want to give up any opportunity to serve God while I still have my breath to do it. So I prayed for a gospel partner. God answered my prayer with another street evangelist turning up out of the blue after I had started for over half an hour. In Christ we backed up each other irrespective our human organizational affiliation. For instances, for some people who were willing to accept the tract but could not speak good enough English, I could do the follow up chat with success. Recap below were the six major conversation I had in that less than two hours ministry period.

PS. Afterwards, I just learnt that Gary was there from 1300-1345 but he did not bring any signs as he was with some of his family members. That was why I failed to spot him there when I drove pass the East side of Sunny Park as such I turned around to park on the West side of Sunny Plaza as the chance to get a chat is better than the East side especially if you serve on your own. So from hindsight, God answered my prayer in double sending two street evangelists to serve alongside with me.

1) When I arrived, the bus stop was fully seated with many people without any gap. It was hard and inappropriate to force my way in to share with any people. I actually did try to approach the girl sitting on the outskirt and got rejected. I could understand this as it appeared everybody else were listening to us in this crowded situations. Then I took a step back to wait for the bus come to take away most people. After that, only two people were left sitting there of which one was Mr Siu. He is from Swatow, Quandong China. I only learnt later he was there waiting for his wife so bus arrival did not bother him. I approached first the other Chinese lady but got rejected then I approached Mr Siu. His first reaction was still not willing to chat, but somehow God gave me giftedness to find an ice breaking topic to start our chatting in a casual manner first. Once connected the chat box was opened naturally and I had the chance to share with him the full Gospel. He was not rejective but rather showing interest and later he actually exposed to me he is church going with his son and grandchildren to CCCCB at St Lucia. I believe he is now more open to gospel and have a better understanding of accepting Jesus by grace through faith. Then his wife came and we kept connecting with things and people we know in common. Pray that this divine encounter will trigger Mr Siu to make his final step of faith to be in union with his son's family in Christ.

2) Linz is Filipino yet with no faith but showed great interest in the gospel. She admitted she is not perfect and has done punishable sin. But she needed some time to ponder if she should now receive Christ without any more wait or hesitation. So I asked her to read the tract at home and pray to God for guidance.

3) Then I approached an English speaking man who had just rejected the other evangelist. Yet curiously he was willing to chat a while with me. His reaction was basically negative against the need of God in his life. But he could not deny all human are imperfect with punishable sin that only Jesus can saved us from eternal death by dying for us. It was a pity our conversation had to cut off by the arrival of the bus. It anyway was still a worthwhile approach with gospel message having been passed on.

4) Another lady who is an employee of the Scape group specialized in student accommodation. She declined to accept a tract but still I managed to have a good friendly chat with her starting from her work with Scape. With some skillful exchanges of conversation, I still managed to share her the nutshell of the Gospel before the bus arrived.

5) Then I caught up with an elderly Chinese man. He appeared to be a bit old to give sharp response to my words. I did not give up but still managed to speak in a slow and clear tone about the gospel. His empty facial expression showed no clue if he really heard and understood what I said. I nevertheless honor my own personal standing ground that, I will still share gospel to all people despite there are all sort of barrier between us. Otherwise, they will lost their last chance to hear the gospel if everyone avoid chatting to elderly or people who has limited English.

6) Finally I did another follow up on a Chinese Lady who had accepted both Chinese and English tracts from the other evangelist but could not proceed because of complete lack of English speaking ability. This was of course not the major reason. Thanks God I still managed to get into conversation with that lady and shared the full gospel with not too many interaction from her. She showed reluctance to consider right away. I could only leave her to God to bear fruit in His time.
