Well, it wasn’t a standard week this week.  Heavy rain on Tuesday and so I decided to stay online rather than head to Riccarton.  And on Saturday we were at the Malvern A&P Show (Sheffield, just past Darfield - inland from Christchurch).  But I was able to do my regular city outreaches on Friday and Sunday afternoon.

The main event of the week was the Malvern A&P Show outreach - so I’ll start with that.

I was wondering if I wouldn’t have enough Christians to run the site earlier in the week.  But it turns out we had more than enough!  Sadly, the foot traffic was a lot lower than previous years.  I wonder if this had something to do with us being right down the far end of where all the trade sites were situated.  Oh well, at least there was some foot traffic, and so everyone on the team had an opportunity to get involved.  And still managed to keep myself very busy.  I had many gospel conversations.  Yet, my focus was in trying to encourage the other Christians.

I was super proud of my youngest daughter Daniella, who was often busy in gospel conversations.  Well done Dani!  She started the last conversation of the day, with an older Hindu couple.  I could tell it was a harder conversation, but I wanted her to have the experience of having to deal with it.  She did well!  But eventually she called me over for help.  The couple were engaged, so I just rolled back to the start to recover the ground Dani had already covered, but I slowed down to address their objections as they came up.  I got them all the way to assenting to a just universe maker and heaven and hell, an admission that ‘good deeds’ were the way to heaven.  I took them through the law, where they resisted hard.  They had never stolen anything!  I gave examples of when I had stolen as a child, and they laughed along and then agreed they had done similar with their parents.  And so, I asked, “so, you’ve disobeyed your parents too?”.  They got the point.  Suddenly, the lady started resisting the idea of a universe maker again, and so I had to roll back again.  Eventually, I realised that I wasn’t making progress.  They had heard the law (which brings knowledge of sin), so I decided to cut to the gospel - which is the power of God for salvation.  The man now started trying to include Jesus into Hinduism!

The chat ended with the lady becoming offended.  I challenged her to change her mind about her worldview.  That was offensive to her, “you don’t challenge people like that”.  The man smiled, he understood that I was coming from a place of love and concern.  I changed the word to ‘plead’.  “I’m pleading with you: the issue of the afterlife is too important”.  One of the pictures shows Dani talking with this couple.

I’m going to let the pictures do the talking for the rest of the outreach, which ran from 9am till 4pm.  It was so awesome seeing everyone in the team giving it ago!  I was super encouraged.

On Friday, I was on my own initially, so I decided to wander around the inner city to see what gospel opportunity I could find.  I ended up in Cathedral Square where a group of construction workers working on the Cathedral repair were taking a break.  I approached 2 of them and started a conversation.  Soon after I was interrupted by one of the other workers across the way who was listening - she had a few things to say on the matter.  I engaged her till she said she didn’t want to talk about it any more.  So, I went back to the original 2.  But, not long after, the lady across the way decided to interject again!  Quite a few of the workers got involved in the conversation - it was quite funny, but a bit disjoined.  In the end I decided to hand them all tracts and move along - their break was about to end anyway.  But I was encouraged, I hope I’ll have an opportunity to engage with some of them again.

Later, I was back at the Bridge of Remembrance, and John was with me.  I spotted 3 Filipino kids right in front of the JW stand.  Having recently been to the Philippines, I was eager to engage them.  They stayed to hear the whole gospel presentation - which was so good.  And I hope the couple of JWs I was standing in front of were listening too!

Sunday’s outreach was busy.  I was feeling quite tired from the Malvern A&P Show outreach the day before, so I set up my flip chart and focused on tract distribution.  Susan and Binu were with me.

I ended up getting into some good gospel conversations.  2 young ladies heard the gospel (one had a Christian background, but they were both agnostic).  Sadly they both rejected it (for now).

And I had a great chat with another group of 5 or 6 young people.  It was a difficult chat in the sense that they were all easily distracted.  But one of them in particular was audibly understanding each point of the presentation.  It was making so much sense to him.  So I focused my attention on him and got him to the point of hearing the gospel.  I decided to leave it with that, and handed them all tracts.  I hope the logic of what I was explaining: the seriousness of sin, and the amazing grace of Jesus will stick with them.  May God, in his timing, save them for his glory!

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday 22/3/2023 from 1300-1500

It was another day lately that I time and again did the Sunnybank Outreach solo. By the grace of God, I got all the four chats that lasted over 15 to 30 minutes. And all of them are Chinese with 3 from mainland and one from Hong Kong. God is turning the tide to bring in more Chinese people for our street outreach.

1) David Kong is actually a friend from mainland China who share the same vision on standing up for democracy. He himself follows the Tibet Buddhism though he is very friendly to people of all religion including me as a Christian pastor. He also came to help out the church before it is sold to Life City Church. Both of us have the 6th sense to meet each other today. It proved spot on and we met at the door step of the Chemist Warehouse. He got injured during work but he got no work compensation as he is only a employee by contract. Now he relies on the Government to subsidy his medical expenses for the on-the-job injury. He is planning to find a remote or outback place to lead a new simple life. I appealed again to him as an old friend that to me, recognizing the fallen nature of human character that called for the atonement salvation of Jesus is the prime most important target for him. I took best use of this divine appointment to recount the core of the gospel message and appeal him to come to our church on Sunday as long as he is free.

2) Li from Beijing 4 years ago to study at QUT was willing to chat even about religious issue. He also shared my observation that Mainlanders are more open and receptive to gospel message to be shared to them in public especially those youngster generation that have experienced the white paper revolution upholding righteousness and basic human right.

3) The Spirit also led me to meet Ms Kong from Hong Kong that I have chatted many time before. This time, I was led to share a full long version of my testimony of receiving Christ. Pray that she will be moved to surrender to accept Christ in His time.

4)Then the Holy Spirit made the bus schedule for 598 encountering a major delay as such it gave me a longer period of over 30 minutes to share with Madam Chen from Shanghai again my full testimony. As she chatted with at least two co-workers before and have got the gospel tract. So, I changed the approach to recount my personal testimony likened as my amazing grace and amazing way. She was impressed to notice that an ordinary person like me can become a servant of God with apostolic compassion to contribute to the Bottom-line blessing to people of all nations.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday March 21st, 2023 from 1330 – 1500

The Toowong Outreach outpost has lately been turned into the harvest field for Mainland Chinese. Almost 80 % of people we outreached here are from Mainland China. And over 90 % of them are opened and responsive, if not receptive to the gospel. Such change and softening of the Chinese hearts is obviously induced by the sovereign power of God through the Holy Spirit that makes everything happening lately in China work together to bring awakening to the younger year 2000 generation -who have now come by flock to overseas. It will be better to have more gospel workers out there as the bus schedule is very frequent at Toowong. The average time for a chat is from 2minutes to 5 minutes. Pray for more workers be called to cope with the increased opportunities. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung.

1) Chris from Singapore was brought up from Christian family but is no more a Christian. I stressed wit him that what important is for him to understanding the core meaning of gospel that we as sinner all need the salvation of Jesus. We should not be distracted by corrupted human nature, inclusive of Christians. But Chris seemed to have lost his trust in human and religions because of bad Christian witnesses.

2) Lin from Guangzhou recognized me and switched to Cantonese. I followed up on her result of pondering on the message of he tract. She said the tract makes all sense, except why one person has to sacrifice for us. I clarified not any random person but a perfect person that actually do not exist now in the world. It can only be the son of God Jesus Christ himself to incarnate as a perfect person, as the atonement can only be effective by a perfect person. I am still an imperfect person lie every human in the world so we are all not qualified but Jesus. More so he did it willingly and wilfully according to His plan as such this is the only life line, we can get to redeem us from the bondage of sin. She nodded to show her understanding as well as appreciation and I look forwards to meeting her again next week, if God's Willing.

3) A Germany guy moved from Singapore after half a year study to now UQ. Again, he once was a Christian but has left the church for a long time. I appeal him to revisit the meaning of Gospel and how would it impact our eternal status to be with God or to be condemned in hell. He thanked for my advice and pray that I will meet him again for follow up next week.

4) Then I was led to start chatting with all Chinese Mainlander from thence on. The first is Ms Su from Jie Jiang (possibly Hangzhou) She came in February belonging to the new influx after the cancelation of Zero policy as such a newest generation baptized by the white paper revolution. She showed genuine interest in the gospel and willing to ponder receiving Christ.

5) Then I was led to chat with a big guy by the name Yang? from Hangzhou?. He has come for a year already but still show openness and receptiveness to he Gospel message. He was most interested to the story about the Story Bridge, an example good work and charity could not waive punishment of Crime committed.

6) Then came the first stone heart girl who rejected both I and Winnie for a Chat or even not taking a tract.

7) A tall guy who was the third one from Jie Jiang Hangzhou and came after the zero policy was scrapped. He claimed he took our tract before so I tried to follow up on his though about the gospel message. It was a pity the arriving bus cut short our conversation.

8 ) A girl in black who was Huang ? from Shenzhen and originally from Zhuhai as such a Cantonese speaking girl. She was not only open and responsive but has a high ability of self-reflection admitting herself not perfect if not a sinner. She agreed she needs the salvation of Jesus. Pray for the continuing moving work of the Holy Spirit to bring Huang to Christ.

9) The I met another Lady Huang? from Fuzhou . She is also the white paper new generation as such appeared very open and receptive to Gospel.

It was a JOY to be on the streets again last night in Brisbane city with the team to share the gospel.

The contrast between the recent Philippine mission trip where pretty much everyone over there was willing to speak about God compared to Australia was evident, as at the start I had about 5 rejections in a row. But even that is not in vain!

But it wasn’t too long before some good chats started happening and one highlight was one with a lady named Dee from Taiwan.

She said she is a Buddhist, and so for the next 45 minutes I explained the message of sin, the coming judgement and the cross with her, showing her only Jesus can take her hell punishment she deserves.

I explained that you can’t have Buddha and Jesus, she must pick only one because they teach opposite things. She said “I will choose Jesus” and she described how she has Buddhist statutes around her home and she said she’ll now get rid of them.

I gave her a gospel of John at the end, and she said “But oh no, I have nothing to give you!” I said, “No, it’s free!” But she said, “Just like I now want to do anything for Jesus because he saved me, if you give me this I want to show my thankfulness to you too.”

I said to her, “You trusting in Jesus and now desiring to live for Him is enough for me, that brings me great joy!” So she gratefully took the gospel of John and I recommended a local church to her. She said she now wants to share this message with her husband.

It was so good to be in the Philippines to share the gospel with the church there, but it’s also so good to be home.  This week I was on the streets in Riccarton on Tuesday afternoon, and in the City on Friday afternoon.  I wasn’t able to make it out on Saturday (wedding: congrats Toby and Mel!) or Sunday (family get together: Rach is home!), so this will hopefully be a briefer report than usual.

It was a wonderful outreach on Tuesday.  My first conversation was with 3 senior high school guys.  2 of the guys believed in God, but the other didn’t, so I started with explaining who God is.  They were open and the conversation went smoothly.  The 2 guys made professions - so I got them to consider the cost.  Where the ‘atheist’ seemed genuinely appreciative of the conversation: “I’ve never heard that before”.  Very encouraging.  As I was talking to them, another group of about 5 or so guys from the same high school went past (they were juniors apparently).  One of them in particular was ‘hostile’, but as I was already in a conversation I couldn’t engage.

My next conversation was with an older gentleman.  He seemed to be homeless, and yet as we got talking, he seemed to be very educated.  We had a long conversation, sitting on the seats next to where I had set up my flipchart.  He had just come from hospital, discharged post some heart issues.  Afterlife was a pertinent conversation topic!  He acknowledged there was a God, a heaven and a hell.  He acknowledged he was a sinner.  But he thought he would be good enough for heaven.  I actually spent quite a while labouring with him in the bad news because of this, before explaining the good news of Jesus.  I know it was 4:50pm when the conversation ended, because he needed to find accommodation - it turns out he was homeless :(  I sent him off to the place he needed to be before it closed at 5pm.

During that chat, those 5 high school guys (including the hostile one) came back - they were interested in my flipchart, but I didn’t want to break the original chat to engage them.  But all but the hostile one took tracts.  I remember being busy for the last 30 minutes of the outreach, but the details have escaped me.

Friday’s outreach came with a sense of futility, which is strange for me. I tend to be good at acknowledging the sovereignty of God and just putting my hand and my mind to the task, leaving the results to God.  I did this anyway, even though the feeling lingered - I left it in God’s hands through prayer.

I ended up having a couple of separate conversations with Christians, both in Christchurch from out of town.  I received some encouragement from them - which was nice.

But the highlight chat of the day was with a young man who had a goal of joining the navy one day.  He had a Christian background, but had recently converted to Nordic mythology!  We talked for a long time, and I was able to work through the whole flipchart with him.  He left with a tract and a gospel of John.

It was good to be able to have a hot chocolate with Roger after the outreach, and debrief a bit with him.

God willing, I’ll be completely back to normal schedule next week, although I have 3 special outreaches coming up, that I’d appreciate prayer for: next Saturday is the Malvern A&P Show (25th March), then the following Saturday is the Oxford A&P Show (1st April), and then the weekend after that will be the Easter hot cross bun outreaches (8th & 10th April 11am till 1pm in Cashel Mall)!

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday 15/3/2023 from 1300-1500

Praise be to Lord our God, today Amy joined me and later Jase Lamont and Sam a working holiday from Taiwan also joined us for a short while. Jase is a free-lance gospel out-Reacher doing personal evangelism anywhere in the shopping mall or in public place. He came for replenishment of some more Chinese tracts and ask for a Bible for one of his Chinese fruit of the gospel. Amy chose to work solo on the Eastern side Bus stop leaving me to do at the Western side bus stop. Both of us have good non-stop gospel sharing opportunities. Basically, she ministered to a well-mixed of people group including 2 from Taiwan, , one from Hing Kong from Mainland China though having been rejected by another two2 Ok, one from Yemen One from Vietnam and one from Philippine ?. As for me, I met many Christians today that only a minority have 100% assurance of salivation. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung.

1) Steve, an Indian was born of a Christian family but converted to be an Anglican Christian when he has grown up. On testing for his assurance of salvation, he answered he hoped to be 100% certain that means he still lacked 100% assurance. He was pleased to receive my clarification.

2) Mirth is a Filipino of Catholic faith. Yet he is in lack of 100% assurance of salvation as most Catholic Christian do. He thanked for my clarification and took a tract to affirm his understanding of true Christian faith.

3) Then I was moved to approach a man from Jiangsu Nanjing . He was all ear to listen to the Gospel sharing initially, but was distracted when he spotted the bus coming from a far distance and use it as an excuse to end the conversation.

4) Then I picked up a NZ young man who was originally from South Africa but has now called Australia home. He was waiting for pick up by friend which unfortunately happened too quick before I can finish the gospel sharing. Though I still managed to fast track the conclusion that as sinner, we all need Jesus as our saviour and lord of our life.

5) Chen from Taiwan quickly identified himself as Christiaan. As he passed the assurance of salvation test. He was happy to take some tracts from me to do his own outreach.

6) Followed up on an Indian that Jase had handed out tract. He tried to be excused for chatting claiming his English is not good enough. I still managed to share him the nutshell of the Gospel before his quick arriving bus came.

7) Sancell another Filipino also identified himself as Christian but still lacked assurance of salvation as most Catholic Christians do. He thanked me for clarification of the three-fold deliverance of salvation. That the heavenly citizenship has been granted to us by God thru Christ.

8 ) Then I caught up with a Mainlander from Quang Dung who is a Graffith student. He was opened and willingly took a tract.

9 ) Last but not the Least, I encountered a Kenya Christian but I was not yet able to test her assurance of Salvation.

The team have returned from the Philippines Mission with a skip in their step. It was such a joy getting alongside local believers in the Philippines to share the gospel and see the lost come to grasp the good news.

The people we witnessed to were very open to having spiritual conversations (particularly compared to back home). And since we focused our efforts at the universities, the people generally spoke English well.

There is a wide-door of effective ministry in the Philippines, with Christians needed to be sowing the seed there, as most people are relying on their own 'goodness' to get themselves to heaven.

We have even received messages on Instagram from people thanking us for the sharing the gospel with them and they said they want to learn more.

Lord willing, we plan on returning for another mission trip in around September 2023.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday March 14th, 2023 from 1330 – 1500

It was another very hot day but both Winnie and Hung did not have time to feel uncomfortable for the heat as both were full occupied for chatting though most of them were not very long. Another noteworthy phenomenon is the higher ratio of Gospel target from Mainland China than people of other nations. In the past it was very hard to get mainlander for a chat but situation is changing lately. It was perhaps after the baptism of the Covid-19 suffering, many young people realized the vulnerability of life and the sinful nature of human making the pandemic a more disastrous one. The upsurging of the white paper rebel was one of the sign that the outcry for justice by a supreme God to there to changing the stone heart to a heart of flesh ready for the gospel. 1) After a first rejection by another Mainland girl, Lin? from Guangzhou delightfully chatted with me at the and of the long queue as such we have a quite long chat. She has just arrived for a few weeks to do her Master degree study on marketing. She disclosed she is not yet a Christian but she acknowledged that the logic of the gospel is rational without any argument. She showed willingness to ponder on her next step of faith to address the issue of sin in her life.

2) Then I caught up with He? from Jiangxi Jiu Jiang. He was also quite open for a chat and appeared very receptive to the Gospel message.

3) Then I met up with another mainlander by the name of Lin ? from Hangzhou He appeared very friendly and interactive for the gospel chat. He is doing a graduate study on Data Processing.

4) Then I tried to approach a Chinese Couple. But they were engaging in something else that made them not available for a chat. The girl anyway willingly took a tract to read later.

5) Then I caught up with Chen from Wuhan , He has been in Brisbane for 4 years arriving jsut before the pandemic as such having avoided the break out of Covid in Wuhan. He did feel the vulnerability of life as such the gospel message made sense to him.

6) Then I tried to meet with people of other culture, i.e a Western girl. She politely declined my approach but willingly took a tract to read.

7) Then my Japanese greeting came into usage when Amanda disclosed she is a Japanese. It helped to build good rapport and allowed me to share the full gospel message to her. She listened attentively but at the end still claimed no interest to consider this important life issue to address our sin. Just pray for her.

8 ) Then I was led to approach a Bangladesh man. I used the earthquake issue to show vulnerability of life and the need to address sin. He took a tract and promise to ponder.

9) Finally I caught up with a man from Bangkok, Thailand who claimed he is a Buddhist. But he was still open enough to listen to the full gospel. I even used the stone wall structure of the Budda claiming he himself is not perfect and equally need a saviour.

The Philippines Trip is Complete!

I’m sitting in the international airport in Manila as I write this. Joshua, March and Chris left in the morning. The rest of the team then went to the University of the Philippines (UP) for the morning outreach and lunch. I then left for the airport while Ryan, Bekk, Paul, Mark and Tanush stayed for an afternoon outreach. They will have dinner and then head to the airport for their flights.

Wow, has this trip gone quick. I’ve probably already mentioned this in my reports, but when you put your head down and focus on the task at hand: sharing the gospel - time just flies by. And there has been so much opportunity. Even when the public transport strike interrupted our plans, there were still plenty of people around for us to talk to.

And I have to say it again, I just praise God for answering our prayers and giving us amazing connections with the church in Manila to serve alongside - esp. Rock of Refuge Church. Your dedication to the outward focus of the church: reaching the lost is so encouraging. We have learnt from you, as we hope you have learned from us. May connections and partnerships between churches like this continue to grow for the sake of proclaiming the gospel, for the glory of God alone.

So, I’ll give a summary of the last 2 days of outreach from my perspective.

Yesterday half the team were at UP in the morning, while the other half had an opportunity to share the gospel with a large group of High School students, and then we were all at QC Gardens in the afternoon.

At UP I was paired up with a young man called Mark (not the Mark from NZ). We focused on conversations rather than tract distribution, due to the lack of people due to classes being online. Mark had some great opportunities to share the gospel, as did I - but I faced resistance. The first young man just wanted to focus on this life, and didn’t want to think about the afterlife. I gently worked to show him the folly of this thinking, but he was insistent, and we parted ways.

The highlight chat of the morning was also with someone very resistant. He was a professor. He declared that he believed in reincarnation, but it became very clear early in the conversation that he simply wanted to believe whatever made him happy. He wanted to be his own god. The conversation became quite heated (from his side) - but I was up for it, as was he. He calmed himself as we continued to engage. I shared the law and the gospel, but it was quite an apologetics battle. After a while, I noticed a change in him, he all of a sudden wanted to express his deep respect for Jesus, and the religion of his roots: Roman Catholicism. We discussed / wrestled through many things. To end the conversation he expressed his interest in the way I was talking. He had always seen religion as illogical, and something you just (blindly) believe. But I was arguing that, without God you can’t have logic, and logic transcends religion and culture so that we have no excuse about knowing the truth of God. To end the conversation, I offered a tract, but he refused it. “I’ll only leave it on my desk, and it will gather dust”. I pleaded with him to take it. “I’ll be praying that God convicts you of your sin, and one day you pick up that tract and read it to remember the good news”. Sadly he still rejected it. I pray that God would continue to bring Christians into his life to continue sharing the law and the gospel with him. I pray that God would grant him repentance. The gospel is the power of God for salvation.


While I was at UP: Ryan, Bekk, Tanush and Mark were sharing the gospel with high school students, as per the pictures.

In the afternoon I was paired up with Michael. We had some wonderful chats. The 2 highlights were with 1) a group of 3 High School students. As I laboured with them on the gospel, one of them finally came to understand when he said, “but if that’s true, then someone can simply trust that Jesus died for them, and then do whatever they want!”. I was able to use the fireman analogy to explain why we don’t want to do that. 2) a young atheist. We laboured with him - he outwardly refused the gospel, but I could see he was challenged, esp. with the building builder analogy.

This morning at UP I was paired up with Nico, again, not many students, but we were still busy for the whole outreach. We had 2 main conversations for most of the 2 hours. The first was with a young couple: his name was Ed. It was a long chat, where I was able to spend time using the check questions to make sure they were really understanding. He took a gospel of John.

And my final chat of the trip was with Jed. A law student who is a staunch Catholic. He was very polite, but argued every point and wouldn’t back down. Yet, there was a deep interest there. He is studying the Bible weekly with someone on campus, and he connected with me on Insta (needgod.net7) so we can continue the chat.

Well, that’s enough from me! Can express how good this trip has been, ministering the gospel, with the church here in Manila. God willing, we will be able to return again soon!

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Wednesday 8/3/2023 from 1300-1500

Today, again I served solo at Sunnybank so I prayed for fewer but deeper conversations. God answered my prayer. Basically, I was led to share with a Filipino couple who came here on a working visa. They had been waiting for their route of bus for a while already but I was still moved to approach the husband, Peter. Firstly, I tried to connect with him through my rare trips to Manila many years ago, but mentioning about OPN 513 team which is now serving in Manila doing same street outreach like me doing here. He showed interest and appreciation of what we are doing here and there in his home country. I tested the water saying Philippine is generally recognized as a Catholic country and ask if he professes Catholic faith and he straight ahead admit he is a Catholic Christian. So I switched testing his assurance of salvation which he failed utterly flat and square. He is not sure if he can go to heaven and claimed that all he can do is to be a good person even before I brought up the "Good Person " tract to challenge his thinking. When I asked how good you have to become to earn your way to Heaven, then he noticed Jesus still play a role in our salvation. Then I further challenged him if he thought the redemptive work of Jesus dying for us to take our place to receive the punishment of our sins is effective enough? He of course answered that it should be effective enough, then I asked why you still think you have to rely on more good works to earn your way to heaven. It was clearly stipulated in the Bible Eph 2:8-9 that it is solely because of the work of Jesus and not because of our good deeds so all we have to do is to accept Jesus' salvation by grace through faith in Him and Him alone. I used the story about the Story Bridge to demonstrate, good work can never use to offset crime. Story Bridge actually bears the name of the donor Mr Story who was a wealthy man doing a lot of charity including donating the building of the Story Bridge and donating the land in St Lucia for the founding of University of Queensland. The motive behind was to ease his guilt of murdering another fortune explorer from NSW in the early 1900. He killed that guy and robbed him of 9 Sterling Pound which become his capital fund and made him rich. He and his family kept it as a secret and only was disclosed 30 years after his death. I asked Peter if he disclosed his murder crime while he was alive, will he be able to appeal for waiving the charge of murder because of all the great charity work he had done. The answer was obviously negative. Similarly, I asked
Peter would he thought his good work can compare to Mr Story donating Millions of Dollars for charity and social community welfare purpose. If not, would he think it is enough to offset the sins that he and us the human as sinners have committed so far and throughout our life. The answer is obviously, not. So I helped him to establish that good deeds never will count in term of salivation and acquiring eternal life by admission to the heaven Kingdom right away at the moment we admit and accept Jesus as our Savior and the Lord of our life as per Eph 2:8-9. And on this basis, God further promises to make us a perfect masterpiece or unique arts of human life created firstly by the work of redemption of Christ. Then our life will be transformed step by step, day by day towards perfection by doing His work. It means our redeemed born-again life will bound to return back to perfection if we choose to walk with God and to lead a life on mission with God. As long as we have those correct awareness and understanding of the plan of God, we will not be misled to feel unsure and not confident to be able to admitted to our eternal home readily prepared by Jesus.

The timing was just good and the bus came after I finished my sharing and clarification with Peter.
