Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Tuesday October 16th 2024 from 1300-1500
Edwin joined Johnny and Hung today at Sunnybank though a bit late. As usual, Edwin was quick to make approach with average shorter chat, but every now and then, God still gives him long conversation especially with those younger persons. I got several long chats today all with good results as recap below:
1) An middle aged person from Guangzhou having migrated to Australia like myself was delighted to have a long chat with me. Our conversation circled around Changes taking place in Hong Kong that has resulted in great exodus trend as the backdrops of the sinfulness of human races that is beyond redemption but Jesus our Savior are still willingly come and died for us to set us free from the bondage of sins.
2) Then I was moved to approach Mr. Zhou? from Taiwan? who is UQ students but renting a room in Sunnybank for cheaper rent. He is non-religious but his heart is fairly open and receptive to the Gospel message.
3) Betty , a local Aussie girl working at Coles. She is non religious too but she appeared equally open and receptive to the gospel.
4) Then I was led to approach a Fijian mum and daughter both were open and delightful to have a chat with me. Despite they are of Hinduism background, but they were open and receptive to the gospel.
5) Then I caught up with a Bangladesh young man who has just come to study at UQ. He listens for a while but began to show impatience and even stood up to leave. But, at that moment , a UTE across the road seemed to have the piston inside the engine broken, making a loud metallic crashing noise. It swirled to crash on the kerb side Infront of the bus stop. If this accident happened on our side of the road, it might possibly have crashed unto bus stop where we were there chatting. So life is not guarantee of hassle free. We should take priority to address the life issues I had just shared with the Bangladesh UQ student..
6) Finally caught up with a couple from Hong King. They claimed to be Buddhist followers . Only have time for a brief sharing of the nutshell of the Gospel

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Toowong on Tuesday October 15, 2024 from 1330-1430
Johnny and Hung teamed up as usual at Toowong, reaching people of all nations randomly yet by the election of God. We deem each encounter a divine appointment irrespective of the immediate result. There were first time gospel hearers, and some of them heard but not yet making up their mind for the step of faith. In any event, God is in control and we simply are just mobilized to serve God by lead a life style n mission with God in a 24x7 mode. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung.
1) A Vietnamese girl claimed to be atheist but was still open enough to let me share here the gospel and received a tract to cover the unfinished gospel sharing interrupted by the bus arrival.
2) Alpha, an Indonesia Muslim man accompanying wife to come for study at UQ. He however appeared very open and receptive to the gospel admitting no one is perfect and all human need salvation from God.
3) A Local Aussie but declared himself a Christian after finishing the gospel sharing. He however does not have assurance of salvation
4) Indian computer science
5) Next an UK Scottish who claimed himself once a Christian but has become a nonbeliever. I nevertheless still shared the gospel to him once again in case he never understand true salvation by grace through faith.
6) Next was an Indian Hinduism follower who claimed Johnny had chatted with him before and got the tract. I just did a brief revision with him.
7) Ashi is from Saudi Arabia, but he appeared very open and receptive to gospel and showed his appreciation by taking selfie with me.
8 ) Finally caught up with a guy from NanJing whgo claimed he had a chat with Johnny. He still can recall, the tract is all about Jesus as our savior.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Sunnybank on Tuesday October 9th 2024 from 1300-1500
With Hail storm and heavy rain warning liked yesterday, Johnny and Hung still ventured to team up for our regular street outreach at Sunny bank, both were given ample divine encounters to share the gospels and witnessing to people of all nations with amazing results. God held up the storm until we finished to show His promise to be with us whenever we were on mission with God. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung:
1) Local Aussie couples, one of Mauritius Hinduism background and the other of western ethnicity from Gladstone coming to Brisbane for work. And they just arrived for a few days. The attention were diverted to finding the right route of Bus to Kangaroo Point as such they once interrupted my gospel sharing to try to figure out if they were on the right sight of the bus stop. I of course could not but abort my gospel sharing to help them out but the man was particularly skeptical about my traffic direction advice which in a sense upset me and asked for their faith on a local Aussie for 30 years like me even though I seldom ride bus but direction wide, I am all pretty clear about it. They ended up rushing on the wrong bus despite of my advice. Miraculously, they stopped the bus and got off not far from the bus stop without my knowledge. And the Mauritius Hinduism was moved by the Spirit to come back to me top apologies for ignoring my advice in Good Will. Then I was given the 2nd chance to share the unfinished gospel message that he felt amen to listen this time on. So, these are the numerous Mission Power exhibition to demonstrate the great power of the Gospel and the work of the Holy Spirit.
2) May like me has called Australian home when she move from Portuguese to Aussie 4 years old of age. She is a QUT student, though non-religious but very open and receptive to the gospel message and thanks me for sharing with her by taking a friendly selfie with her.
3) A middle age man from Taichung Taiwan was humble and friendly to let me share him the full gospel despite he is non-religous.
4) Then I was led to approach a Filipino who is extraordinarily a non Christian. He was ok to listen but too rush because of the quick arrival of his bus.
5) Then I caught up with a UQ student from Huanan , she did not resist to listen though not taking a tract.
6) Then Johnny referred me to a Lady form Hong Konger, It was a pity her quick arriving bus did not give me enough time to share,
7) Mia a Japanese girl come for study was given Japanese tract but seemingly she took it half heartedly.
8 ) Caught up with another Japanese girl but she was not even willing to chat despite I greeted her in fluent Japanese first.
9) Then I have a long chat with a Vietnamese Australian born Vietnamese who speaks English and was all receptive to the gospel.
10) Mans an Afghanistan young student whom Johnny has chatted several time before was willing to have a conversation with me allowing me to revise the gospel one again to him. He appeared all open and very receptive though still a Muslim as an individual and as a family member.

A good week this week. It felt more normal than the previous weeks. I think this is the first week of the school holidays. As a result, Tuesday’s outreach was busier than normal - very busy actually. I went for about an hour and a half just rolling from 1 conversation to another. There was engagement, and even openness from those I was talking to.
As I was talking, I noticed a young man walk past with a really dirty look on his face. He obviously knew what I was doing and didn’t like it. Soon after, I became aware of a raised voice across the road. He was engaged in a conversation with Roger.
Well, I had just finished a chat and next thing I know he was with me. He’d finished with Roger, been and bought something to eat, and then had come back to have a chat with me.
I knew I was up for a battle, but I felt like taking it on. Apparently I’d talked to him before. He was very intellectual, but he was using his God given intellect to suppress God. Even though his arguments were unreasonable, he was at least polite enough to allow it to be a 2 way discussion - which was great. But, the reason I say his arguments were unreasonable, is because he would deny absolute truth - which is a contradiction (to deny absolute truth is an absolute). He would make absurd statements, but I held him to account, I didn’t let him hold on to that absurdity. Not only that, I explained why he was doing it: He wants to deny the absolute God who brings moral accountability for sin.
It was a long chat, but I ran out of patience. Without losing my cool, I told him there was no point in continuing the conversation - he accepted that. I think he was a bit disappointed; I think he enjoyed the conversation for the sake of it. But, I was tired, and I wanted to share the gospel with others, maybe others who would be open to it. I had been able to touch on the law and the gospel with him.
Roger was busy on the other side of the street too. He finished up with a conversation with a young man whose mother went to Rogers church and had been praying for her son! I got to hear the very end of the chat, and the young man seemed so appreciative of the gospel conversation.
On Friday I was with Roger and Andy in the city: Bridge of Remembrance. One of the streeties I see regularly came over to talk with me (his eyes seemed clear for a change, which is good). As we were talking, a guy came over and gave him a pie - which was really generous. I brought him into the conversation, and then, eventually, the streetie moved on and I was left talking with the pie giver. He is from the US, and works down in Antarctica. Eventually I was able to swing the conversation to deep things. He said he normally wouldn’t have cared about the subject, but he had been doing a philosophy / ethics paper in his undergraduate degree which had made him interested.
Sadly, he became very resistant early in the chat. I used the analogy of a builder requiring a builder to show how we know God is real. But he came back with the “where did God come from” question. Sadly, he wasn’t interested in answers and he would cut me off before I could finish. He shifted the conversation to the source of morals. He said there are no morals, ultimately. And when I explained that God’s nature is the source of morals, he tried to say “but what’s the basis for God’s morals”. Interestingly, the answer for both questions is very similar: God must be unmade, and God himself is the ultimate standard for morals. In both cases, the alternative is an infinite regress, which is a logical fallacy and so can’t be true.
I decided to disengage. Otherwise the conversation could potentially have turned nasty. I let him talk from then on, just listening to him talk. It was interesting that he opened up about his sister, who he said had been in a similar position as the streetie I had been talking to. What was even more interesting is that his sister had managed to turn her life around, through a faith based program. She was even now running this program, and helping others. He left with a tract.
I had a great time in Riccarton on Saturday. Lot’s of opportunities to talk with people. I talked with 2 young ladies, one of whom was drunk. I was a bit surprised that someone would be drunk at lunch time on a Saturday! But the highlight would have been a chat with 2 young high school students with Christian backgrounds. They were stoked that I was out preaching about Jesus. I was able to work with them to bring some precision in their understanding of the gospel.
I also had a chat with a lady who had seen me on a bus, and had hopped off to come talk to me. She had just been over to the World Mission Society Church of God - a cult. They are currently aggressively ‘evangelising’ in my city. She was very confused, and so I spent my time with her to try to bring some clarity on the simplicity of the law and the gospel.
On Sunday, Mike joined me in the city in the afternoon. I decided to bring my flip chart, and I had a busy outreach. The WMSCoG were out in force, but I was too busy to engage them.
There is a guy that works in the city, and we see him often and so are having a long term gospel chat with him. I was able to continue that today, but sadly, I’m so very aware of how blind he is to basic truths. I’m totally failing to get through to him. I decided to leave him with Mike. But I’ve decided to add him to my prayer list, and ask God to open his eyes to see the truth. Apart from the grace of God, I’m him.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Toowong on Tuesday October 1, 2024 from 1330-1430
Johnny rejoined me at Toowong after a short vacation break. It seemed that Johnny had got more meaning chat while my targets in general appeared more polite and keep a distance to the creation God of the Universe as well as us the people of all Nations. Recap below is the Battel Log of my gospel Outreach: -
1) Maddy, a local Aussie Girl, polite to let me share her the full gospel but did not take the tract.
2) A Mainlander from Shandong but surprisingly open with reasonably good interaction.
3) Another Local Aussie girl of UQ doing Genetic study, she also listened but not that receptive.
4) Another Mainlander Girl from Shandong who was willing to chat but was interrupted by the quick arriving bus.
5) Indian man chatted who claimed we had chatted before and decline to have any more follow up talk.
6) Aria a local Aussie girl from Gladstone who was open and responsive to the gospel.
7) Midair and Irene, a Bangladesh couple appeared open and interactive to the gospel message
8 ) Another local girl chatted before but no interest to talk on the same subject but I switch talking about fair dinkum
9) Ali an Indian Muslim who typically believe Mohammad the prophet is a perfect human being. I anyway was able to establish that no one single person in the human race is able to claim self-perfection. All needs salvation and help from God through the sacrificial death to redeem us from the bondage of sins
